Think I will have a look at these Wonderfit jeans tonight whilst I get my shopping. How is the sizing?

Snow hope you have a better day today.

I know this is along way away yet but does anyone have any experiences/thoughts on Hypnobirthing? Its just that my trainer mentioned it to me this morning, she herself teaches these courses, and as much as I trust her not to 'sell' me faff, I would just like others general thoughts on it? TBF she's really not overcharging me or anything, as she's offering the course at half price and I've been comparing prices for the courses in my area and she is roughly around the same price as everyone else. Its not something I've really heard off or know people who have experiences of it.

A very good friend of mine used this for both her children. Your birthing partner definitely needs to be fully into it, but it worked a charm for them - she didn't use any other pain relief. Sadly my DH is a bit sceptical, but I'm still thinking of looking into it, as he's become quite indulgent in recent weeks :)

Hope the scan goes well today Vanilla.

On another topic, and probably TMI (sorry!), but is anyone else having trouble with diarrhea? I think this is revenge for not having any morning sickness...

    No, precisely the opposite :(

Good luck with the scan today vanilla, hope all goes well!

I think we are going to have the screening; not because we think anything will be wrong or because well do anything about it but I think forewarned is forearmed.

My booking appointment was yesterday and the Midwife has told me to book a consultant appointment because my daughter was early. I hope I don't need to see them all throughout the pregnancy :o

April, I find the sizing on the wonderful jeans to be quite true to size. I wear a small which is 10/12.

Hey april87 I'm doing hypnobirthing :) our course is in Jan but my pregnancy yoga is geared towards it too and I'm doing lots of reading in the meantime. I'll let you know how I get on!

My OH's cousin has found her course so good that she's now going for a home birth...!

Hi all scan went well, there is a baby in there!! And it was moving its arms and legs so much! My NT measurement was 1.6mm and I had the bloods taken for the other screening. They said they will ring me if high risk if not results posted in 7-10 days anyway. They had to redo my blood group test as they couldn't find that from the bloods taken at my booking in appointment. My EDD was brought forward to the 24th May which is our wedding anniversary! which means i'm 13 weeks today.

I too have to see the consultant at 20 weeks as we went to the Maldives very early in the pregnancy and as there is a risk of exposure to Zika virus they want to get the consultant involved. I see it as having the best care possible, just hope it's not lots of waiting around and appointments run to time!

New, if you find thicker maternity leggings can you let us know? I can only seem to find the slightly thinner ones.

I'm hoping a trip to Glasgow the week after next will turn up some decent maternity wear. The maternity sections we have up here are absolutely pants.

Vanilla hope your scan goes well :)

    Hi April

Just popping on here to say that I'm in Glasgow and the maternity selection is not great! I got a couple of nice things in H&M on Argyle St and Mothercare in St Enoch's centre but apart from that it's been online for everything else!

Thanks Petal, I'll know not to get my hopes up.

Thanks Cats, hoping to speak to the OH about it tonight and gage his thoughts on it so will see.

Vanilla glad to see the scan went relatively well, and fingers crossed the bloods come back ok :)
  • Glad things went well vanilla - how much further on did they put you? How lovely would it be if the baby did arrive on your anniversary! Fingers crossed for the bloods!

RE maternity-wear... It seems to be that when you are pregnant, they tend to think you like dressing like a sailor?! Lots of very flattering (...) horizontal strips for us, apparently!

Haha at the sailor, i must admit a lot of the maternity clothes are not the most appealing!

I am actually earlier than first thought, so must have ovulated early.
