I've just spent ages looking on the net for short maternity jeans- struggling to be honest! Debenhams trick you by showing you 'regular' jeans, but that's all they seem to have. I could only find one pair on asos. New look have a few in a 30 leg and next seem to have a couple, but I am trying to bid for some next ones on ebay. Have also bought a few dresses and some new look black short trousers. I tend to wear dresses at work, sometimes trousers and tops so hopefully that will be me stocked up for a while.0

Have a nice time in Finland Poddle, when i went a few years ago we brought food from home as we had a log cabin and finland can be expensive.
I have my scan on Wednesday, thankfully early in the morning so no hanging around.
I'm on the hunt for petite jeans too so will update if I find anything good!0 -
I'm debating getting a bump band as I work in jeans, currently using the bobble method haha.
I'm not short but my friend who is found H&M maternity wear really good, might be worth a try?
I'm hoping to get some maternity leggings, but would like some thicker ones with it being winter.
Snow - glad your starting to get some relief from the sickness, long may it continue.
Poodle - enjoy Finland, hope you manage to find something to eat.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

New, if you find thicker maternity leggings can you let us know? I can only seem to find the slightly thinner ones.
I'm hoping a trip to Glasgow the week after next will turn up some decent maternity wear. The maternity sections we have up here are absolutely pants.
Vanilla hope your scan goes well0 -
I'm starting to feel pretty sick at times during the day. This morning I felt dizzy and hot too. Thankfully my spots seem to have cleared up!
I need to go shopping for non-underwired bras. I have a couple of crop tops I'm using at the moment but they're still a bit small.
Taking every symptom as a positive at the moment. Time is passing fairly quickly now, so it won't be long until my early scan.0 -
I wrote a post a few days ago and it mustn't have completed sending, pah!
Congratulations Roz xx
My sickness/unending hunger seems to have eased slightly. Thank god! I had visions of putting on about five stone
Have a great time in Finland poddle.
We're just off to have my bloods taken and the midwife is visiting later for my booking appointment.
I feel as though my middle has at least doubled, but I know it hasn't! I am still wearing the closest I get to jeans - which brings me to my last point...
For the girls struggling with trousers, Asda do jeans called 'wonder fit'. They're like a blend between a a jean and leggings and they straddle two sizes. I was wearing a small when I put on a stone (it happens SO easily) during the summer and am still in the same pair, now that I have lost a stone and a half. They're stretchy and so comfy - and they might help bridge the gap between normal jeans and maternity jeans?

April will let you know if I find some.
Ratison I brought a pack of two from debenhams and they are still a bit Lacey so not quite full on maternity bra but no underwire and really comfy! They are huge though haha! I have gone up to a D, husband has nicknamed me Boobarella :rotfl: I'm slightly concerned I'm going to be just boobs and bump at somepoint!!!
Sweetbabu might have a look at those jeans thanks! Glad sickness has eased.
I've found egg mayo sandwich at lunch is good too (I'm finding a small list of foods that don't make me want to heave) and also melon!!! I've literally eaten half a melon at lunch, but it was so cooling and juicy it really soothed my nausea.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

I feel like a whale today!
Wore a dress to work as I absolutely couldn't cope with my usual trousers without a bump band but then this evening even the waistband of the dress (tight fitting from under bust to waist) was killing me by this evening. I think it was making me feel sick as when I loosened it I felt a whole lot better. No idea what I'm going to do tomorrow as the bump band I ordered on Amazon Prime is marked as delivered and is not here!! Nor with any of our immediate neighbours
Got the afternoon off tomorrow for my midwife appointment so may resort to seeing if I can find any maternity departments in the shops in the local town.
I also think I may have experienced my first bout of pregnancy tiredness - hit me like a freight train at 4:30 and really struggled to stay awake / concentrate at work for the last hour. Hoping for a better day tomorrow!!Cleared my credit card debt of £7123.58 in a year using YNAB! Debt free date 04/12/2015.
Enjoying sending hundreds of pounds a month to savings rather than debt repayment!0 -

Thanks, been working late today, felt terrible on tube home, managed to hold the puke till i got home
Not sure if it's because I haven't eaten at regular intervals today or whether is my body rejecting the coffee I had at 5pm.
Feel terrible at the moment, had some gaviscon to try and ease the acid feeling in my gullet.
Sweetbabu I have some ASDA wonderfit in small, think I need to get medium now though (I'm a 12-14 in jeans normally) Definitely a good recommendation at £20 too.0
