Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Sorry to hear you're struggling so much vanilla, I hope it improves soon!
I'm feeling very pleased as I went running this morning! Helped out at my running club's beginners group so it was nice and slow, but I did nearly 5 miles in total. I really enjoyed it and feel really refreshed for it. How the nausea has improved I'm going to try and do a bit each weekend, and looking at pregnancy pilates midweek.
Hope everyone has a good weekend0 -
Thanks for the Congrats everyone
still doesn't feel real. Every time I go to the loo I'm expecting to see blood - I had spotting for 4 days last weekend (before I got my BFP) and had a little teeny spot yesterday too. I'm trying not to panic! My lower belly feels quite tight and every now and again I get an uncomfortable pain, not quite a cramp, that goes if I adjust my position - anybody else had this? No sickness yet but waves of nausea throughout the day which go away when I eat something. Going to ring my GP on Monday & see what happens in my area!
Have a good weekend everyone - hope those feeling sick are no suffering too badly xx0 -
Glad to hear I'm not the only one suffering with acne. Hopefully it clears up soon for us all :rotfl:
Roz I wouldn't know much about spotting, but the pain your feeling in your lower stomach area could be your uterus expanding. I was quite sore for a while, but my midwife reassured me that it was normal. I think spotting could be the same, but I wouldn't quote me on that.
Penguin, glad to hear that you managed a run. I wish I still ran but I haven't since I fractured my knee a few years back. I think I'll stick to weights for now. I'm also looking at a pregnancy Pilates/yoga class but struggling to find something in my area.
Vanilla I have my form all signed and ready to go, but I'm waiting until my scan before I send it.0 -
Roz- I had terrible stomach cramps from about week 3 (thought it was AF on her way) until about week 6. But seems entirely normal. It faded as the nausea started! I was offered an early scan at nearly 10 weeks as we had a tiny bit of spotting, but I'd had none until then. Speaking to your GP sounds sensible. Apparently about 20% of healthy pregnancies have spotting so not uncommon.
April, I'm going to do pilates from YouTube- I've done it before so feel quite confident with my technique and there's lots of pregnancy ones out there.0 -
Thanks everyone, wow penguin can't believe you managed a good run! No exercise for me since finding out. Hope to get back swimming or a gentle run soon.Need to find out it my gym do any pregnancy suitable classes for yoga.
Rox I had cramping and sharp pain/stitch but didn't last very long.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend, I need to attempt to do some cleaning tomorrow!0 -

I'm going to try and keep paddling in my rowing boat for as long as I can- until my balance goes and bump gets in the way anyway.0 -
How's everyone doing? Any appointments this week?0
-
I've got a aversion to most meats started last week, bleurghh!!
Also anything too greasy and some other stuff. I'm ok with chicken and I'm glad I can eat some tuna as I'm finding that on a jacket potato is a good lunch for me.
My first appointment is next Thursday. So far first trimester feels like it's going reasonably quick.
How are you doing Ratison and everyone?Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
I noticed the other day that I've got loads of little bumps on my chest and shoulders/upper arms. Very odd. I'm assuming hormone related somehow! Food-wise I'm still eating mostly normally, but having to go for small portions in the evening. Had a few nights where Andrews salts have been the only saving grace!
Still 2.5 weeks to go 'til my appointment - though I am supposed to have been into pick up a 'bounty pack', whatever that is?! (I can't help hoping it has a bounty in it, though I'm almost certain to be disappointed). Surgery only open until 6:30 Mon-Fri though, so I've simply not been able to get there after work thus far.
Newthrift - gosh, you are having a bit of a time of it aren't you! Glad you've managed to find some things you *can* eat0 -
New I get the whole meal thing. I struggle with meat just now, mostly the smell but it puts me right off eating it. I seem to manage on turkey bacon, and cold meat. Getting protein is a bit of a struggle for me the now.
My first trimester seems to have dragged, 12 weeks today and still another week until my scan. Actually counting down the amount of sleeps I have left. I am itching to tell people, instead of having to make excuses for my lack of coffee, or why I look so tired these days :rotfl: I have let it slip to one or two people, but as I said to my OH its hard keeping this a secret, I've had to keep it secret for 9 weeks now ha. It doesn't help that my OH best friend's partner is also pregnant, shes a few weeks further on than I am, and they had their announcement etc but even they said by the time that came around they had very few people who didn't know. I feel so bad for wishing my life away, but I can't help it.
Firebird I think the Bounty pack is a pack with maybe samples i.e nappies and vouchers if I remember correctly. I'm sure that's what was in my sisters a few years back.0
