Thanks MancMama. Hope all is going well with you too. In comedy news, I may have been stressed about my lack of symptoms but the one symptom which is driving me crazy is my hunger!! Can't eat a lot but if I don't eat literally every couple of hours (at most) I feel horrendous!

It's nice to be able to eat but quite annoying having to hunt down snacks, and try to stay healthy!! :rotfl:

    Thanks Mancmama,

A midwife from the EPU called at lunchtime, asked a bunch of questions and said they can see me tomorrow.

I don't know if I'm more worried now that they actually want to see me x

Hope everything is ok Clara, what a worrying morning you've had. Let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Been struggling with trapped wind myself, a warm bath helped a bit last night.

Good luck Clarabell - I hope that all is well tomorrow. Sending you strength to get through the time between now and then. Hopefully the fact you've not had any spotting since is a positive sign. Xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Guys I've been so silly and need your help! After my scan on Tuesday I was all happy but then I stupidly googled the heart rate etc and now I'm so scared mine is too low :( the lady at the scan said (I thought) that it was 118bpm and she said they look for 90-140 so that's fine and bang in the middle - but when I've googled everyone has reported like 140bpm+!

I don't know if she was just telling me what I wanted to hear and it actually is too low?! Size was measuring 1.5mm though which was bang on 8 weeks.

I'm driving myself crazy now and no idea what to do :(

cats please try not to worry - any concerns would have been flagged at the scan, if they said it was fine you have no reason to believe otherwise for now. I know its incredibly worrying, I still worry every day that something will go wrong, but have faith in your body and your baby and keep focusing on the next appointment.

I know its near impossible but try not to google ANYTHING!!! My midwife warned me about this and said they would rather take a phone call about something minor than me google it and self diagnose myself Xx

Hi Cats, do not google anything else! :grouphug:

    I'm doing good thanks :)

Had scan this morning and just back to work after the hospital running 50 mins late!

The midwife couldn't get a clear enough pic on a normal ultrasound so had to do a vaginal one. She confirmed pregnancy and that it was in the right place and that she could see the yolk sack. Then she went on to say that she couldn't see baby yet so would get me in for another scan.

She then said "oh, you know how I said the picture clears when the waves settle?" Say hello to your baby! It looked like a grain of rice but I could see it ad she pointed out its teeny tiny heartbeat :j

So she reckons my dates are right and says I am about 5+ (I'm tracking at 5+5 today) so my "12 week scan" WILL be too early and have re-arranged for 23rd Sep after we come back from holiday.

Still very early days but so glad everything is OK so far. She didn't say what the blood could have been and I forgot to ask to be honest! The cramps - most likely to be trapped wind
