clarabell that is brill news and sounds very much like what happened to me... I was dated at 5+6 on the day and they showed us a flashing prawn on screen - they said the blood was probably just old and not to worry. Hope your mind is at rest for a few weeks now x
cats you are very welcome and here's to the next round of scans! xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Thanks Mancmama, yes feeling much better about things now.
Was really gearing myself up for the worst. My heart sank when she said i'd need to go back in a few weeks as I knew I would just worry between now and then!
But as the midwife said, baby made her work for her money today :rotfl: I had a few tears when I saw the flashing, was just such relief xxx0 -
I think a little blood is super common Clara, I actually had a tiny bit of brown this morning which made me stress for a few mins but then I had to just tell myself all this stuff is so common and I need to start trying to relax.
No idea how but am going to start by trying to get some mindfulness into my day, then I've said to myself when I reach 10 weeks I will tell my yoga teacher so I can go back to that. I really miss it but don't know enough about what not to do and not quite ready to tell.
I think it's also all about positivity - I'm now telling myself WHEN I reach 10 weeks etc, not IF. It's not doing me and OH any good how stressed I am so I need to get on with life outside of pregnancy!!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

I think it was just unfortunate for me that the blood and the cramps happened at the same time. If it had been one or the other I probably wouldn't have been all that worried.
Hubby is positive enough for the both of us but he has warned me today that I need to try and relax more and take care of myself. I am going to try my very best!
Hope you can get back yo your yoga soon x0 -
Brilliant news Clara!!
Feel a bit bad, been a bit emotional all day for no good reason then totally snapped at OH for criticising my driving earlier!0 -

cats I am trying to practice mindfulness too, I have a couple of CDs which help and also reading a book about Mindful Pregnancy - The Headspace Guide to. I have a very active imagination and need to keep my mind in the present as much as possible or I can end up on google for hours looking up every possible scenario and problem! xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0

Glad to hear things are going well Clara!
Cats, I think I read that yoga in pregnancy is only recommended after 14 weeks, but could be wrong. Thought I might look into some local classes after my scan (assuming all is well). I had a hypnobirthing cd when I was expecting my son and found it very relaxing, but could do with some exercise too.0 -
Ooh thanks big5 I'll have a proper read around. The initial stuff found implied I just needed a lot of alterations but if it gets easier after 14 weeks I may just wait til then.
We actually dug out our wii fit yesterday as OH is getting so annoyed with me being all stir crazy!! Hadn't appreciated how hard it would be to go from exercise 4 or 5 days a week to next to nothing. Really want the weather to cool a little so I can try some nice steady runs. My friends are definitely going to guess from the lack of exercise rather than lack of booze!!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

I know how you feel, I was running 3 or 4 times a week up till a couple of months ago when work got busy, planned to start again then got the positive result so thinking power walking instead, that way the dog can come too! Not sure taking the road bike out is a good idea either, with my luck I'm bound to come off and hurt myself.0
