The time will fly in MancMama (well I hope so since my scan is on the 20th!)
Vic, I'd speak to them about it when you go to booking in...they'll be able to advise. I had a choice of two hospitals and was a bit unsure but they talked me through it and my decision became slightly easier!
I think I'll like the over the bump jeans when I actually have a bump...it was maybe just too soon and it looked ridiculous just hanging there haha! I've got a few dresses saved in my basket on ASOS...I just don't want to order then til after the scan. I felt bad ordering the one I have but it's lovely and it was in the sale!
I also have a wedding to go to in August and usually I'd have my outfit all planned but I have no idea how big I'll be then so going to have to wait til much nearer the time to get something!0 -
Hey all
The good news is that the dress I bought all those weeks ago for the wedding this weekend still fits perfectly. I must have been lucky with no weight gain or bursting trousers
Soooo, we have decided not to tell people at the wedding so the plan is to try and get away with non-alcoholic drinks whilst holding some sort of fizz at certain points (I will have a toast drink). If anyone notices, I will say that I am on Metronidazole which is an antibiotic that doesn't go well with alcohol. I will make out that I have had a few drinks but can't risk any more. Fingers crossed people won't question things anyway. It's my OH's friends and so they won't be as probing as mine would and they are nearly all male so will be more interested in their own drinks.
I'm travelling down by train alone so I have got a baby name book which I bought the day I found out. I know it's early but it's a long journey and will fill the time.
My scan is on 15 June so less than 2 weeks :grinheart0 -
Just jumping over here. I have under the bump jeans that I've been wearing for a while and they are so comfy. Now I'm getting bigger I have a pair of over the bump jeans, but they can also be worn as under the bump- they are from mothercare and highly recommended. X0

I really must have a think about clothes in a couple of weeks - will check those out in Mothercare, thanks ThinkPink.
I'm so glad its Friday and I have a whole weekend of nothing to do! Feeling very wiped out this week and quite sick today. Bring on my PJs haha.
Have a great weekend all - another week almost done! xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Must investigate Mothercare too. For some reason I never even thought of them for maternity stuff!
MancMama, I hear you! I am so tired this week and the heat isn't helping (not used to it living in Scotland! haha!) so I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend, lounging in the garden. I have to say hubby has been absolutely amazing this week and has done EVERYTHING for me. I started to thank him last night after he made our lunches for work and burst into tears! Hormones!!!
I'm 10 weeks tomorrow - can't believe it! One more step closer to hopefully seeing the back of this constant nausea!0 -
Next leggings are apparently the most comfy... and their jeans seemed pretty good too. Although I don't own any yet, will be ordering some soon.
There are a few nice websites for wedding outfits, seraphine is one I think.. I was looking for an outfit for a wedding later this year but I'll be 8.5months pregnant so going to waitBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Another one for the tired club. Not helped by the fact that last night I just couldn't sleep! I was just too hot  . At one point I accidentally woke the hubby up with my tossing and turning and he asked if I was ok. I told him that I was far to warm and wanted to open the window to which he responded he was freezing. It was at the point I noticed he had t-shirt and trousers on, the quilt and a doubled over blanket  In the end he went into the spare room to grab a few hours before work this morning.
I'm also having at home weekend although DH is out on his bike with a mate on Sunday so I might see if my parents mind having me and my monkey over for Sunday dinner haha. Tomorrow I am hoping we can sort out the garage ready for moving house. My pregnancy pillow is in there somewhere and I want itDH says he's looked but you can guarantee it was just a quick glance around :rotfl:
Today I was meant to go over to a friends with monkey for a playdate but I just feel so rough that I have no idea how to hide the fact I am pregnant. I'm not ready to tell her and I suspect she only needs to spend 5 minutes with me to click whats going on lol. Have postponed it until next week so I have time to work out how to handle the situation lol.
I've been having a gander online at Mothercare and spotted a few bits and pieces. Think I will feel better about buying stuff once my scans been done.Nov Grocery challenge - £0/£3000 -
My under the bump jeans are next and are comfy, I found with the over the bump jranscthat the panel was quite small and wouldn't have had much growing room0

Not feeling too poorly today, just very tired. Managed to get a load of washing washed and on the line to dry, found my pillow out of the garage even though hubby swore he had checked properly and hubby has dug my maternity clothes out of the attic so I can get them washed. Hopefully this will help me to be a little bit more comfy until my scan, after which I won't feel quite so guilty spending money on some new bits and pieces.Nov Grocery challenge - £0/£3000

Morning, just over 6 weeks and I've got my early scan on Friday. Was weeding the front garden yesterday, we only moved in about 12 weeks ago and an old dear came along, very lovely and we chatted for ages, she then said "so new house because you're expecting?!" pointing at my mid-drift and tapping her own. So odd, I just stammered an 'erm yeah' and pretty much ran indoors! Not sure whether to feel pleased or annoyed, hubby said I should of told her to b*gger off and mind her own business! It was with the best of intent I think, but I really didn't think I was giving off any signs yet!
We went to see a band last night, I must admit, I was super sensitive to lots of drunk people being around and desperately wanted to leave as soon as possible, but managed to see the whole set and found myself a quiet little corner to sip my 50p lime and soda water! Cheap date!
Anyway, hope you've all got some sunshine today, it's a beautiful day here and I fully intend on getting my vitamin d levels up before a three hour drive to Nottingham later for another family wedding that I'm going to have to fake some illness at to cover my none drinking !0
