Newthrift, so terribly sorry to hear that. Sending you hugs. As you say, at least you know you can get pregnant- fingers crossed the next one sticks. Take care of yourself!
Cats, hope everything is ok. I've heard lots of women say they have some spotting and it's nothing bad. Really hoping this is the case for you!

It turns out the baby does not like the smell or taste of red meat. Had some beef slow cooking yesterday for last nights dinner. Ended up waking up at midnight really really poorly. During my first pregnancy I didn't throw up once but this one doesn't seem to want to follow the same course :-( Will be sticking to the bland boring foods from now on I think although I am already bored of toast lol.
Although I haven't gained any physical weight yet my tummy is definitely getting bigger so I don't think it will be very long before I am digging out my maternity clothes. There is only so long I can walk around with my top button undone before someone notices I think lol.Nov Grocery challenge - £0/£3000 -
Vic, I had to do that a few times on holiday...on the flight home I had the button of my jeans open the whole way...I was so bloated! It gets much worse in the evening too. I had trousers on to work yesterday that were loose on me in the morning but digging into my tummy by the time I left!
I bought one nice maternity dress although it's still way too big at the mo. I tried on some jeans but I hated the big thing that covers the bump...they are definitely for way in the future! I think for now I may just buy a pair of jeans in a bigger waist size to keep me going!0 -
Another one here for the open top button of pants brigade!! Although my friend told me a great trick with a hair bobble looped round the button which is giving me a bit more wriggle room.
Booking in this morning and got my scan date through, 27th June at 8.50am. My colleague covered for me but my boss did ask where I was so I've told him and he was really pleased for me.
Feeling quite nervous already, 3 1/2 weeks seems like forever to wait! I'm so anxious after last time even though I know this time is different. Please please grow little bean! XxMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Pink Petal - I have been eyeing up some maternity dresses. Really want some nice dresses that will take me through the whole pregnancy. I have jeans from my last pregnancy. I found that the over bump ones were more comfy as i got further into pregnancy but it is definitely personal preference I think.
Mancmama - Glad your booking in went well. The bobble tip is a great idea! Nearly answered the door the other day with my trousers around my ankles because I had forgotten to do them up! Would have been a very surprised postman. That tip may help save my decency haha.
I still have 2.5 weeks left till my booking in appointment and I am incredibly impatient for it because I know I won't get my scan booked in until then. Although I am in a bit of a dilemma because we are in the process of selling our house and moving from Nottingham to Leicester. Contracts haven't exchanged yet so everything could still fall through. I'm not even sure contracts will be exchanged before my booking in. I don't know whether I should put my self down for the hospital local to us now or the one nearest to the new house. I guess it all depends on how easy it is to transfer hospitals. Decisions decisions.Nov Grocery challenge - £0/£3000
