Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

It's really interesting to hear how booking in varies from each area.

Mine was spread over 2 appointments, initial one at 8 weeks to take medical history, weight/height, routine CO2 test and to give me my notes, sample bottles for urine etc.

Then a return appointment at 9 weeks to take bloods, test urine sample and see how things have been. As long as you know anything relevant about OH/their immediately family's medical history they don't need to be there from my experience.

Hi everyone! Been lurking on the thread since I first did a test and haven't posted until now

I had my booking appt at 10+3 after spending 2 weeks in Florida (long haul flight was fine, just made sure I drank plenty of water and stretched every time I got up to pee!). Didn't take OH - he wouldn't have got anything out of it except bored so I left him at home to do the washing up!

Fingers crossed in about nine hours I should be moving onto the next thread - my dating scan is today at 12:05pm - I think I should be 13 weeks and am really nervous about it - these last few weeks have been weird - we decided not to tell anyone until after it (I've told a couple of friends at work as I work in a lab and they might have seen my samples coming in anyway!) and it's hard not to really have anyone to talk about it with.

I find it so odd that I peed on a stick over 8 weeks ago and since then people have basically just taken my word for it that I'm pregnant!! Will be good to finally confirm that there is something in there and set my mind at ease or find out for certain if that's not the case - it has been a LONG wait for this!

Morning sickness has well and truly kicked in now. I've been sick three times and it's not even 8am Working from my bed today, so glad I have that option!

Just back from the hospital... we have a heartbeat!!! Dated me at 5+6 and all looking normal. So relieved and thankful Xx

Really pleased for you. Glad you were able to get an early scan.

I'm heading off in a few minutes to pick up OH and get to our 20 week scan.

thats great news Manmama! so glad everything is ok!

got my booking in appointment 1st june - though she's coming to my house which I though a bit strange! though she did say that she will also have a date for the scan too which is exciting!

OH is getting massively impatient for the scan etc so I asked if he wanted to look at booking an early scan somewhere but all the ones by us seem to do them from 8 weeks so he has sulkily said we might as well wait!
