Thanks ladies, I think its just a case of not being afraid and just BDing if we feel like it... which I don't at all this week haha. I think once we've had the early scan I will start to feel better/less anxious though.

6 weeks exactly today and feeling nauseous. Looking forward to a restful weekend x

MancMama - I felt the same as you, didn't want to jinx anything by BDing! Especially as my mc last year followed BDing (although I know it wasn't anything to do with it). This time round we did all the other stuff, but only BD'd maybe twice before 12week scan, and TBH not much since! I've lost all interest, and he is worried he will squash me and baby! Do what makes you feel comfortable, your OH should understand either way x

Thanks flutter, I'm definitely feeling cautious which is a bit silly but I think once things progress past last time I will be more keen! OH is absolutely fine I just feel mean haha.

Just had a small bit of brown spotting when I wiped. It's got me worried sick. Monday can't come soon enough X

Just keep an eye out for any pain MancMama. I'm sure that can be normal.

I have my first appt on Monday too. I keep getting this low pelvic pain. It's not cramp like, just very sharp and comes in waves and then disappears - it seems to be relieved by eating, which I find bizarre. I'm therefore eating loads and worrying I am going to be huge too soon

I have felt utterly exhausted today. Couldn't wait to leave work. Left and went straight to bed. Had over 2 hours sleep. Won't be long before I am back there.

MancMama I read somewhere that spotting during the first trimester is pretty common and is generally nothing to worry as long as its brown and fairly light so I wouldn't worry too much...although I realise that's easier said than done!

Absolutely shattered today and so bloated. By the end of work my waistband was digging into me. Never been so happy to get my pjs on!

I'm ok - seems to have stopped this morning but I'm still worried. Didn't sleep well at all. Going to call the EPU at 9 and see what they say x

a tiny bit around the time your period is due is normal.. I pretty much always have the same at 6 and 10 weeks which are about the times stuff is happening hormonally and with the placenta.. brown blood is old and it is very normal for it to happen at this stage

pigpen you have been more help than any professional I have spoken to thusfar!!

The EPU basically told me it "could be something or could be nothing" and that they had no appointments today so I would have to wait until Monday. They said there is a walk in EPU at St Marys but their website says they won't scan under 7 weeks so no point going there. I literally have to sit and wait.

Absolute torture. I don't know why nobody wants to help me, after everything I've been through. This happened last time and I bled for 3 days before I got a scan. At least this time it seems to have stopped.

I have to relax and stay positive I know. It's so hard.

I hope everyone is feeling ok, sorry I feel like its been all 'me me me' this week X
