Very pleased. Midwife lovely and very considerate.

She knew of course from records about the anencephaly last time, and that it was important we had our 12 week scan to check.

So she was prepared to have to have a battle with the appointment booking people to get us a scan for next week, but didn't want to have to do that while we were there.

So she did it before we arrived. As soon as we came in she was able to give us our scan appointment which is a week today, 8:30 in the morning.

So pleased we won't have to wait too much longer to know if it's ok this time.

    Is yours next week Beckyy?

That's great news Freddie, it must have been such a relief to have a nice midwife and great of her to prebook the scan.

Mine is also a week today at lunchtime :j

Part of me thinks time is going incredibly slow, but at the same time over a quarter of the pregnancy has gone already and I feel like once we get into the 2nd trimester the months will start to fly by!

They grow fast this week. By an average of 2mm and 1g per day.

By the time of the scan next week they're more than double the weight they were this Monday just gone.

It was very slow to start with but it's starting to feel quicker. Will have had two scans and the booking appointment within three weeks, having had two months of nothing beforehand!

Very happy we're at this stage but scared too.

    Hi Everyone,
Well, we had scan yesterday and everything was good :)
Was half expecting nothing to be there as I've had no symptoms at all but there baby was on the screen kicking around!
They dated me at 13 weeks so due date has moved forward three days to 22/9/16.
I'm therefore going to move on to the next thread now but see you all there soon.
Good luck for all your scans :)

    Congratulations blueneleh!

Booked my booking appointment today for the 12th April :). Also got given a pack of information and a form to fill in and send off to book a scan. There's a lot to read!
