So pleased it was such lovely news Freddie!! Congratulations to you both.

I remember after one of my MW appointments, she looked at me and said "it's actually happening, there's a baby growing in there!" Sometimes it needs someone to be that obvious before if starts to sink in lol.

  • Awesome Freddie, been thinking about you today and hoping all went well!

Our local private scan place had an offer on over the weekend so I've booked a 4d scan... Not until July but OH had mentioned it so thought we should take advantage of the offer price! It's so difficult to not plan too far ahead. We have told his parents, and will tell his brother and sister when we visit the first weekend of April. Luckily I should be 12 weeks just before his sister in laws hen weekend so I won't have to pretend I'm drinking! A couple of our friends know, partly to help me hide it in social situations but also one of them I can ask lots of questions and get advice.

I still don't think it's sunk in, I'm not sure it really will until it arrives??

I think I did have a bug over the weekend as I felt horrendous yesterday, really nauseous all day, but today it's completely disappeared.

Yay! Lovely news Freddie. I was keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you guys! :)

Pyschopathbabble - in the early days my nausea would come and go. I think it was around 7 weeks that it settled in to stay until around 12/13 weeks. Bleurgh! Though, everyone is different! Fingers crossed it was just a small bug and you don't suffer too much.

    xx

    Thank you all!

Got the booking appointment next Wednesday and then hopefully an NT scan soon after that.

Anyone else had really bad trapped wind? OH has been in bad pain with it ever since we got back from scan!

Settlers windeze ... the thing for flatulence.. it is the same active ingredient as infacol and is not absorbed to the blood stream so perfectly fine in pregnancy.
