Letter finally came, booking appointment is 11+2.

Her notes are green, last time they were blue

If all is well, will ask GP if they can book a scan for us today rather than risking it being really late. No harm in asking is there?

    Just hope everything is alright.

the green notes are linked to a new online system they are using nationally eventually.. it is a total pee take tbh.

for NT they just say they will do them before 14+1 .. Actual dating is kind of irrelevant to them they go on whatever measurement they get.

I'd ask for an EPU scan today.. ham it up a bit if necessary but a bleed would get the epu referral.

booking scans can't be made without certain data from the green notes being put into the system so the gp is unable to make the booking scan appointments.

Aw Freddie im pleased to see you've had a BFP. I followed your story on the TTC board...

I had a bleed at 7 weeks before my booking appointment, I rang 111 and they made an appointment for me at the local walk in centre (appointment for a walk in centre!!) the same day - whilst I was there they made an appointment for me at the EPU for the following day so from bleed to scan was less than 48 hours. Really hope you get sorted, I was told it's incredibly common, I remember it happening when I was pregnant with my daughter too - at exactly the same time x

Thanks I'm hoping that we'll have similar experience but get the referal from the GP this afternoon.

My mum had quite heavy bleeding, not just spotting, throughout pregnancy with her third child my sister, but everything was fine.

OH has texted again since to say she's had a tiny bit more discharge/spotting and does have cramps but not strong cramps, just the same mild stretching sort she's been having throughout so far.

Hope everything is ok Freddie, mild cramps are comman, I had quite a few early on and now awaiting my visit from baby so not always cause for concern but hopefully you'll be offered a scan to put both your minds at rest.
  • Hard not to worry Freddie but I'm sure it's all normal. Unless the bleeding gets very heavy or pains get really bad.

She's had no more bleeding since this morning. Has a terrible headache though, probably the stress of it, she's in bed now.

The GP made an appointment for us at EPU but we have to wait til Monday!

So have to go all weekend worrying about it and take time off work, so need to tell employers. They're open Saturday and Sunday but apparently fully booked.

Obviously if it gets worse we need to go to A&E.

We've both contacted bosses to let them know about Monday. So now it's just the awful wait and see from now til Monday.
