Thanks for the great tip flutterbyuk25!

Oh no Freddie! What a shame. At least she's managed to have something now. Meal planning might have to go on pause for a little while.

Anyone else experiencing a cramps like sensation?

Me...but that's probably just the double dinner.

She is though, having cramps on and off. Just normal stretching etc. due to growing/changing shape uterus.

    Nothing to worry about. :)

  • Thanks Freddie! I'm completely out my depth now and you're right, time has slowed to a crawl.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday

  • I had af like cramps for quite a while at the start then they reappeared at about 7 weeks but only briefly.

Not sure my Sunday is going to be relaxing, laying in bed this morning chatting to oh about redecorating our bedroom has lead to a decision to move the furniture around! Oh is up there now clattering about whilst I stay out the way! I think the new furniture layout will be better, and it should give us more space which we will need if this pregnancy goes ok!

Freddie.. our booking appointments are supposed to be 1-2 weeks.. mine took 5.. then due to christmas i wasnt able to have the NT scan.. Most maternity services are totally at capacity at the moment so it may just take longer.

Cramps are perfectly normal.. some are due to constipation, others the uterus doing its usual crampy thing.. Unless there is blood it is all just fine :)

  • Feel rubbish today. Her nausea has been strong so been tricky finding things to eat.

Plus I seem to have been hit by a rebound of my flu from two weeks ago. So we've both been finding it tricky.

She didn't have morning sickness like this with the last pregnancy. She was worried at first, but I've been reading online and according to some studies the more severe your morning sickness the better. Meant to be lower risk of miscarriage.

    7 weeks tomorrow

I was reading about 88% (iirc) of woman are affected by sickness, so it seems to be more normal than not.

I've had a few bouts of queasiness but thankfully not an awful lot. I've been sipping ginger cordial now and then as it's meant to be good for settling your tummy, can't do any harm right?

I hope you're both feeling better soon Freddie.
