First_Trouble, I'm the same constantly peeing!!

Freddie, you could always chase them on Monday by phone if you're worried?

4wks here and booking appointment in early March.

  • I would probably wait until next tues or weds before chasing it. I'm impatiently waiting for my scan date, i think they forget that a lot of us have jobs and commitments that we need a little bit of notice!!

I just want to get to 12 weeks and know that everything is ok, although I don't have the anxious feeling I had last time, I think my being in denial is working quite well!!

    Congrats to all the newbies!
8 weeks here and still feel it's all a bit surreal as I have had no symptoms at all.
Booking in appt on Monday with the midwife I had before (not the best).

Think pink - I'm going to be exactly the same regarding scan. Appointments booked in for the next month at work so hoping the scan will be on a Friday (my day off) as if not I don't know how I'm going to cancel appointments without raising suspicion. I really don't want to tell my boss yet as I only started the job 5 weeks ago. I got my BFP in my first week there!!
  • Oh fingers crossed yours will be on a Friday then. Will make things so much easier for you.

I have a few office based duties in my calendar which can usually be swapped around, but it's the external meetings that are more difficult to rearrange so fingers crossed my appointment will be a day I'm office based.

    Hope everyone is feeling ok.x
  • Fingers crossed here too for a Friday scan for you blueneleh

I'm the same as you ThinkPink so hoping for a day I can easily slip away.

On top of the booking in appointment I need to slip in an appointment back at our fertility clinic. Unfortunately they are going to write with a date so hoping it won't be at an awkward time of day. It's so tricky keeping it all under wraps!

  • Luckily my midwife works long shifts so my last appointment was 6.20pm and my 18week appointment which she has pencilled in is again at 6.20. It also means oh can come with me.
  • Oh that's great. So handy.

    That's so handy ThinkPink!

My booking in app has fallen on a day I had taken off, however not sure what the process is for scan booking here. I'm hoping to keep everything under wraps until after then but might be difficult to get the time off of work without a decent amount of notice.
  • Not sure if any of you ladies will be looking for maternity wear yet but I just shared this on the 12-24 week thread:

If anyone is looking for maternity wear check out Dorothy Perkins. There is 25% off currently, free delivery and a code for £10 off a £40 spend (HISTORE10)!! They go up to a size 22.

I just bought jeans, bump band and a top for £32.

  • Just had to eat two main meals as she became really nauseas just at the sight of it. So much for meal plan!

Fed her some plain crackers while I whip up something blander!

No booking appointment letter yet. Hopefully will come next week. I'll call if it's not here by Thursday/Friday.

    Time has become so slow!
