Ah man I've just realised that I can't have any of the stuff I normally have for xmas dinner this year! As I'm veggie I normally have brie based starter followed by nut roast in a red wine gravy! Brie and alcohol are nonos, and MW advised no nuts as there is excema in the family! Will have to have a rethink now.
I am now full of a cold and so exhausted, I got up to wee 5 times last night!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Oh flutterby! I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something scrumptious.
I have such bad nausea, mainly in afternoon and evening - makes it so hard to eat after lunch!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Weird. The midwife asked if I ate nuts and I do daily so she told me not to as there is a link between history of excema in family and eating nuts in pregnancy. I don't have excema, but my boyfriend's children do as does my brother.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Just dropping by to see how you are all doing.

flutter if you want nuts eat them.. we have a couple with severe nut allergies and it is ok for me to eat them.. like I would take notice of guidelines anyway, but if I did
.. if a child is going to have eczema they will have it regardless of what you do or do not eat... most of my children have eczema yet I don't eat nuts or dairy.. nuts are almost impossible to avoid without severely restricting your diet which you absolutely mustn't do.
alcohol in gravy is fine.. alcohol evaporates at 75'C .. gravy is cooked hotter so has no alcohol in it..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning All,
Still feeling a bit nervy and shaky but reading back I see a lot of you have felt like that going into the week before the scan so hoping its just mega nerves! I have had no pain at all and no more of the spotting and have put OH on a BD ban until after the scan as I don't want any more potential worry haha... 8 days to go... I feel a bit sick today which is actually comforting!
Jtr I still don't think its sunk in for us yet, the first couple of weeks after we found out were an absolute blur so I know how you feel. Sure it will sink in as you have to start lying to people - I saw my parents last night for the first time in a few weeks - I've been avoiding them to be honest as we are close and am sure if I spend too much time with them I will spill the beans! - but they genuinely have no idea, my Mum even gave me a bottle of wine to have last night when I got in and I took it with glee...muahahaha!
Positive happy vibes all round this week ladies! xxMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Had some lovely news off a friend this weekend too, she has been trying for 2 and a half years, been through fertility testing, 2 rounds of Clomid and had her first IVF appointment booked... and she got a BFP last week! Really made me smile xMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0

Morning All,
So glad to hear the scans went well skint and good vibes! Welcome to the newbies!
I'm worrying today... had a bit of brown tinged cm when I wiped last night and again today. Only very light and blink and you'd miss it... and no cramping at all but I'm still worried sick... not had anything like this thusfar. I want to cry! Has anyone had anything similar?
I know this sort of thing can be completely normal but I wasn't expecting it. 10 days until our scan... guess I just have to wait it out and hope it doesn't turn into something.
Think I'll go back to bed Xx.
I had something very similar, coupled with pain on the right so they sent me for a scan. I wasn't expecting them to send me as it was such a small amount of brown blood but they did as they like to check out bleeding regardless of how small. I feel quite sure it is just one of those things for you MancMama but if you are going to worry for 8 days until your scan (which I would!), can you get a GP appointment, they may send you early to put your mind at ease xxx0 -

My sister was trying 4.5 years and had an appointment with fertility clinic on the Thursday and got bfp on the Tuesday... wonderful isn't it when it all falls into place.
I feel like pap again today.. must be the cold abating .. off to ring and see if I can change the booking appointment.. I bet I get 'oh we only do them on a Monday and Tuesday'... the 2 days I cannot do! *sigh* forever the optimist. haha
the outlaws were here yesterday and the spanx (for 3 hours!!) did the job of hiding the evidence..
They have changed the paperwork stuff here as well.. much more detailed.. but given they never bother reading the notes I am not spending long on that.. not to mention I don't do antenatal appointments either.. if I need them I know where they are.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
