Gelly.. lots of people have issues with pregnacare.. I just got folic acid by itself as I can't take anything with iron in.

Still no appointment through.. and now the cold is abating the nausea is back.. I'm wearing a white top today and I look like Olaf!!! I'm almost convinced its bad news for me.. I don't know why, I just do..

  • Scan day today and apart from keeping us waiting for an hour and 20 minutes.. with a full bladder I might add, it was perfect.

I am a natural worrier and get anxious at the slightest thing, but the midwife put us at ease immediately by saying "I can see the baby and the heartbeat" it was such a good feeling. Baby was wriggling around waving at us, it feels so real now.

We are dated at 12+1 so we were just a day out. Next scan is 26th January, hope it doesn't drag as much.

So I guess that's me moving up to the other thread (although I will still be keeping an eye on this thread, to see how you lovely ladies are doing)

Good luck, hope to see you all soon xxx

Got home from work and felt pretty rubbish so had a lay down, felt better after 10 mins, walked to the kitchen and promptly threw up - oh joy!

  • Had my booking in appointment today as midwife is off for the next few weeks. Loads of forms filling. She is a lovely lady and has put me at ease a bit. Should get my scan date within the week.

Thanks for the replies re baby aspirin. X

Great news skint :j sound like a great appointment flutter, I guess I need to call my doctors soon and let them know.

This morning I took a frer and the line was pretty faint and a cb digi said not pregnant so I was pretty anxious. Tonight was a different story, very dark line and 1-2 on digi at 11dpo, please stick bean!

Did anyone else have an early scan? I can't decide whether to do it about 7.5 weeks or closer to 9? Id love to hear others experience.

Hope you feel better soon gelly and fingers crossed for appointment soon pp!

  • I had an early scan but that's only because they do them here where I live abroad. At home I'd probably only get 2-3 scans overall so I'm pretty happy.

It was nice being able to see the first scan of the sac and I'm hoping on Monday we will get to see a heartbeat (fingers and toes crossed) as it will make me less anxious.

Morning ladies, been lurking for a little while as this pregnancy is a bit of a shock and early days but 8 weeks today so thought I would say hi! No booking in appointment for another couple of weeks so think my first scan could end up being late too 😞 I have constant nausea day and night so really struggling to be honest, nothing seems to help at all and really struggling to eat and the pregnacare seem to make it worse so may take the advice given here and get some plain folic acid. Fingers crossed it clears soon! Hope everyone else is feeling well today! X

Jtr I had an early scan at 7 weeks. I could see the heartbeat and this tiny wee thing which was the baby. I'd say it was reassuring to see the heartbeat and I did relax a wee bit more. It cost £100 but I'd say it was worth it.

early scans are £80 here but for a start I don't have that spare and I don't want to spend £80 to be told its not viable.. but I want the picture for the album for OH's mother.. Lol.. hysterical hormonal crazy ladies coming through :p
