I just wanted to drop in and say a tentative hello! After six months I've had two bfps today @ 10 dpo, so very early days.
Hopefully lines will continue to progress and I can spend a bit more time here :j

Congrats jtr2803 x
Had my first meeting with midwife today, and my booking in appointment is tomorrow as she is going on sick next week due to an operation. She seems very nice and gave me a tonne of stuff to read and fill out tonight!
I am 5wks6days today. Not having many symptoms, odd bit of nausea, occasional sore boobs, excess saliva. Just praying it sticks. May have to wait to 14wks for scan which will be hard! May look at private one.
Have any of you taken baby aspirin to try to prevent miscarriage? I asked mw today and she said not to take it til I am 12wks.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Congratulations Jtr! And welcome. Hope it's a sticky bean for you
Flutterby - nope, sorry, I haven't tried that. I thought that aspirin was a no-no in early pregnancy to be honest, but I don't know about baby aspirin.
Skint - wishing you lots of luck for your scan today! I hope it goes really well for you and you don't have to wait too long.

Welcome jtr - lovely to "see" you over here.
flutterby - I'm on baby aspirin (amongst other things) as it's one of the meds they give to hopefully prevent miscarriage but you have to be prescribed it by a doctor, it's not something you can just nip to the shops and start taking as everything has to be medically supervised in pregnancy.
Talking about medication, my nausea is worst in the evenings and I've been struggling to get dinner down but also I can't get my supplements down - the Pregnacare Plus tablets are so big, they make me wretch so I've not taken any for a couple of days. Will start again as soon as I can stomach them but do you think skipping a few days will be an issue?
Good luck skint for your scan today - keep us posted

Hi All,
I don't post much as I have been so anxious about this pregnancy I was worried about dragging everyone else down! I have been lurking though and following everyone's good news!
Gelly, I have seen you're story on the TTC board and am so glad things are going well for you. Perhaps if the pregnacare are too much at the moment you could switch to basic folic acid for now until things calm down? When we were TTC I took the aldi ones for a bit and they were very small. I think folic acid is the most important thing to keep up in the early stages but someone correct me if I'm wrong!
Good luck to all those with upcoming scan. We are having our third private scan and the harmony bloods done on Saturday when I'll be 10 + 4, hopefully only a couple more weeks to wait until we move to a safer place.
Take care everyone, fingers crossed everything carries on progressing well xx0 -

I'm 26 weeks now, but in the early stages I had the same problem - taking the vitamins were making me feel worse so I stopped taking them for about a week or so when my nausea was at it's worst. I'm sure it won't be a problem to skip a few days, especially if you can manage to keep down some relatively healthy meals!
If you wanted to switch, the Seven Seas pregnancy vitamins are much smaller compared to Pregnacare. They've also got a shinier coating so I found that they seemed to slide down more easily. These ones have added ginger to help with nausea (not sure it made any difference to mine though!):
