Manc.. it could be a bit of implantation or too much playing tents with OH ;) or a bit of cervical erosion.. if it is just a tiny bit it isn't worth bothering with. I had a couple of days of this about 6 weeks and I'm expecting more sometime this week.. perfectly normal for me and if I don't get any that is more unusual. 10 days will be gone in no time.. last week went in a blink!

Could you phone your midwives or local epu MancMama? They might be able to advise you? Hugs to you though, I know it's very worrying.

That's true, had forgotten about the child benefit thing! I don't blame you booking a private scan, would have thought they would make sure you got scanned and checked, would def make a point of saying about it at booking in though but with you private one you'll have your scan pic for christmas!

Thank you both, I'm going to see how I go today, might try the midwife on Monday if I'm still worried. I'm 10+1 today and was finally starting to relax! It really is a rollercoaster X

10 weeks is when the placenta starts taking over supporting the baby so as those blood vessels start to function it is expected a couple will bleed a mini amount..

That's brilliant to hear pigpen, it really puts my mind at rest. This thread is such a blessing! Thinking positive thoughts and relaxing. The next week will fly I'm sure. Thank you x

  • I am just wishing the next 5 and half weeks away so we can tell some people.

One of my friends guessed but she's a new mum so she knows all the signs! I'm happy though as its nice to have someone to talk to it about without worrying. I know she won't say anything so that's good.

I just can't quite believe it, I feel like I'm in denial, did anyone feel the same?

I think hubby is anxious and a bit scared too, I'm kind of this melting pot of anxiety, excitement and happiness and trying to keep it all under control is become exhausting lol.

I would have except it's actually really nice to chat to someone about it, the ob/gyn isn't very helpful!

Lol pigpen, that makes me feel less weird!

Hope you feel a bit more reassured mancmama, I can completely understand how scary it must be.

Tata I'm wishing the next 29 days away! I love Xmas but I know I'll be nervous the whole time until I've seen everything is OK. I think that is unfortunately one of the 'problems' with online pregnancy forums etc, you get exposed to a lot more sad news than maybe you would otherwise.

Going for dinner with friends today, they knew we were trying so not sure my designated driver excuse won't give the game away!
