Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Good luck Euronorris! I am feeling more and more nervous for Friday xx

Despite being a 16/18 and always having a bit of tummy, it seems more dramatic at the moment. I had a stomach bug at 6 weeks lost quite a bit of weight (10lb) but obviously put it all back on now and more so I've actually gone up nearly as stone in about 5 weeks lots of clothes now not fitting and looking more pregnant despite it mostly being a food baby!

if it makes you feel better MP.. the hormones relating to the pregnancy make your muscles relax so, especially if not your first pregnancy, you do get a tummy.. that as well as the bloating, extra fluid retention and in my case wind!! (get out the kites!) does not mean it is all food baby.. the bloating improves around 12-14 weeks I've found..

I'm not venturing anywhere near the scales for at least a year!!

Local place not bothered getting back to me regarding the private scan so it looks like that's not happening either I've messaged them about 5 times .. I really wanted the pic for MIL's album.. I *could* use one from one of the others I guess.. but then if there is something wrong with this one and it doesn't go ahead I don't want her to know.. *sigh* ... what do we do for the best??

Thanks PigPen, will definitely blame pregnant hormones on the baby belly (not bacon or chocolate!)

Do you have another private clinic close to you? I feel sad for you as you have limited options it seems!

I've called them again.. I just seem to keep getting an answer machine.. there must be someone there otherwise they'd never make any money!! .. this is the private clinic MP.. my hospital one is looking like it will be mid January and I'll be about 15 weeks! .. not much use for NT measurement.. I do need Downs odds given I am a geriatric!

Scan went really well. I cried! lol The static pictures don't do it justice. Seeing all that movement on the screen was just amazing! Everything looks healthy too, so phew!

That'll be me moving onto the next thread then. Thanks for all the support ladies, and I hope to see you all on the next thread soon!

Was dated as 12w+3 at the scan, so EDD was adjusted to 19.06.16!

Well I got booked in was in there just over an hour and there's certainly a lot of things I forgot since last time. Midwife said I would probably have mostly hospital care being a planned c-section but would come back to her at 16 weeks. She wasn't booking that appointment now in case my date gets changed at my scan because I wouldn't be 16 weeks the doplar wouldn't work. She said it takes 2-3 weeks for a scan date so am hoping for a beginning of January date unless they're not that busy and I get it sooner but certainly can't see it being this year.

I'm 10 weeks today and the date she gave me was 6 July.

First appointment in the morning I think euronorris, it's the booking in part first (with crossed legs!) then the scan. Getting more and more nervous! hope to "see" you soon
