Feeling rough as hell today, very nauseous and really bad headaches.

One of my colleagues is beign arsey about me not teaching (despite the fact that she knows why and that it was management decision not mine), it's getting to me a bit.

Oh MancMama, big hugs, I know when they examined me at 8 weeks they said a closed cervix was a very very good sign but it was absolute torture waiting another 12 hours for a scan, I very very much hope it all goes well tomorrow. I had light red blood on the day of 12 week scan with DC1 and she was OK, as PigPen says don't give up hope. Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

I'm home from the works Xmas do and wrapping Christmas presents. Missing my usual glass of Baileys!! My new boss gave everyone a bottle of wine for Xmas but got me a giant box of Thorntons chocolates instead so I'm eating those instead! I spoke with him regarding my unsupportive colleague and he has sent an email to all staff telling them it was his decision to remove me from teaching and if anyone has a problem with that then to speak to him!

Hi All,

I'm afraid the worst has happened. Had the scan today and it showed a 6 week old embryo that had stopped growing. My body had only just realised this this week hence the bleed and it's expected to pass naturally in the next 10 days.

I can't put into words how today has felt, but it was a huge relief to tell my family and close friends and for them to be here to support us.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your messages of support. I did read them all yesterday and it gave me strength.

I need some time now to grieve and feel ready to do this again. At the moment I don't know if I will ever be able to.

I wish you all the love and luck in the world with your beautiful babies Xxx

Oh no mancmama, I was thinking about you today and hoping for the best. I'm so sorry to hear your news life is so unfair sometimes!

It is hard to know what to say in these circumstances but please try and stay strong, it sounds like you have a good network around you and people that care about you.

I hope everything works out for you and that I see you on this board again in the future.

Mancmama, I am so sorry the news wasn't good. It will be a horrible horrible time for you both. Hopefully your friends/family will be there for you and allow you to talk when you want to. There are lots of sources of information and support out there, please talk when you need too, I found it helped me when I had a miscarriage in May. Take as much time as you need to recover both physically and emotionally. Lots of love x
