Well I got booked in was in there just over an hour and there's certainly a lot of things I forgot since last time. Midwife said I would probably have mostly hospital care being a planned c-section but would come back to her at 16 weeks. She wasn't booking that appointment now in case my date gets changed at my scan because I wouldn't be 16 weeks the doplar wouldn't work. She said it takes 2-3 weeks for a scan date so am hoping for a beginning of January date unless they're not that busy and I get it sooner but certainly can't see it being this year.

I'm 10 weeks today and the date she gave me was 6 July.

the dopplers work from about 9 weeks.. they just don't try in case it is difficult to find and the woman gets concerned and they end up being sent for a scan when everything is fine.

Hi ladies, so lovely to see you all graduating to the next thread.

Still holding out here and think it must be going well as the nausea and vomiting has increased. Been sick 4 or 5 times now in the last 7-10 days but still feeling nauseous every day.

Office Christmas party tonight, I'm driving - still not sure what story I'm going to stick to but going with a colleague/friend who is staying at ours and he knows so he's my back up thankfully.

Next appt tomorrow with hospital midwife for booking in, consultant appt again on Tuesday for another scan and community midwife appt on Wednesday next week. Nearly 9 weeks....still holding on

Hi Ladies,

Euro congrats on the scan I'm so happy for you xx

It's not good here I'm afraid, not out but not looking good. Started bleeding last night light red, called the EPU who brought my scan forward to Friday, bleeding got worse so went to A&E, had 3 hours of blood tests (all fine), urine test (fine) and an internal exam where the gyn said my cervix looks closed but there is blood there but they can't tell until the scan... they were going to keep me in for observation but decided to send me home. They said they would try and move the scan again to today and would call me (nothing yet) but might have to wait until Friday. Said to call or go back if gets worse (it hasn't but still bleeding no real pain). Had the night from hell didn't sleep and spent it mostly in tears. Why can't anyone tell me if my baby is alive? I feel so hopeless.

Sorry for the long negative post but we haven't told anyone still and I have to get this out somewhere X

He said the bleed could be coming from the cervix or could be an early miscarriage sign but only the scan will tell

Oh manc I'm so sorry to hear that. I really hope you get some answers today and that it's positive news. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you xxx

Manc.. I bled so much with my third they couldn't see if he was ok or not, for 3 weeks, I had about 6 scans but there was so much blood they could see nothing... don't give up all hope.. until you get confirmation one way or the other!! huge hugs sweetie xxx
