Yeah, veg makes me retch too. Go figure! I'm guessing that there'll be plenty of time in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters to pack in the nutrients, which I totally plan on doing.

    Just to update you all.

    She's had her termination today.

We went in at 7:30, she was taken to theatre at about 11:40. She was only gone for about 50 minutes including recovery time for her to wake up. We stayed til 17:30 once she'd had something to eat, drink and managed to walk around a decent amount.

She was really brave through the whole thing. Bit of discomfort but pain killers helping. Most painful bit at the moment is her hand where the cannula was put in.

It's been a very difficult week. But hopefully we can start to recover now.
    Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Bless you both ian, its heart breaking. You are both so brave, you will get through this together. There is a fab thread on here for loss and it really helped me.

Thanks for the update IanRi - I can't imagine we are the first priority. I wish you and your partner a healthy recovery, both physically and emotionally.

Marie1- really pleased for you. I was just thinking on my way home about you and whether you'd had the scan.

Oh, and I went to the dentist today, which was free, because I'm pregnant! All was ok, my gums are a bit bleedy but that's due to being up the duff apparently. :)

IanRi, I can only second what minimuffin said about the thread on loss; it really helped me in the past. You and your wife are both stronger than you think and will get through this. Take care of each other.

Marie, glad that your scan went well.

AFM, I'm shattered and if I NEVER have to get on another train ever again it may just be too soon... have used 18 trains over the three days commuting to and from a conference and every single day there were cancellations, delays and late trains. Apart from the travel, the conference was brilliant and I am glad I took the opportunity to attend.
Goodnight all! I feel like I am showing, but as I have had two losses previously I do not want to share with anyone until things are more certain... and have two functions with the inlaws over the weekend!

    Evening ladies :)
I'm coming back to join this thread, got my BFP this morning. Luckily we managed to catch in the very first cycle after miscarriage a few weeks ago :)

I think I'm roughly 3+4 so still early days, fingers crossed. Epau said they'd give me an early scan around 6-7 weeks, so not too long to wait.

Congrats Marie on the scan, and LittleMoog on the BFP. Saffagal I've been at a conference too the last few days although stayed in a hotel near the conference centre. On my last day yesterday, I was really feeling nauseous and came very close to throwing up in the street whilst walking there. There was a street cleaner nearby & I didn't think he'd be too happy with me if I vommed in the street! Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been!

I had a call from the midwife today who has booked to come and see me on Jule 23rd, the day before I can see my GP-couldn't believe the earliest the GP had was 4 weeks from the date I booked! I was quite surprised the midwife is coming to my house for the first appt, is this the same with anyone else?
