Laura Hoggle- I don't know of anyone who's had a home visit by the midwife, but I don't see why not, they don't really use any equipment which isn't mobile!

AFM- Told my mum last night, she was really pleased. Made her swear to keep it a secret. After the telling off she got from blurting out my engagement to anyone who would listen I think she'll keep quiet on this one.

My tummy pain is back I'm in work but I really wish I wasn't. My try and leave early. I'm going to have to dose p on pain killers to make it through the day which I really hate doing, even pre-pregnancy but it's even worse now though.

I suppose the midwife comes and sees you at home after the birth; and a number of my colleagues had a midwife at least one visit at home too during their pregnancies. In my area all appts during pregnancy are at the gp surgery, but after the birth all are at home. My local midwives tend to do clinics in the morning and home visits all afternoon.

I have my first appt with the midwife tomorrow. I don't know why but I'm feeling terrified. I think on one level it really makes it real as it is then acknowledged by the system if you like. I am feeling so uncomfortable in my regular trousers though; I don't know how I can hide it for another 5 weeks but because of my previous mcs don't want to share before my scan.

Rambosmum, so pleased that your mum is pleased for you. Hoping she respects your wishes and keeps it quiet.

And now, I'm off to bed... just cannot get enough of it at the moment - made worse I think by running after an energetic 2 year old all day!

Morning all.

Great news Little moog! So pleased for you. Youmust be over the moon at how quickly you got your BFP. Fingers crossed this one sticks.

Also have my booking in this afternoon, and I am bricking it. As you say saffagal, it makes it very real. It also means I have to actually admit to myself and another human being that I am still pregnant. I guess the MC's have made me put the shields up so to speak. I wont even let OH hint about anything that might happen until after the scan. I keep telling him off when he says 'when we tell the parents...' rather than 'IF we tell them...'.

One more week to go till the scan so not too long to be put out of my misery.

Heard that its going to get hot again this week....

4 days until scan can't wait. I just really hope there is something there.

Been feeling yack recently. Can't put a finger on the feeling, just one of general unwellness/ lethargy and feeling a bit 'funny'.

Also not sleeping well, and I don't think it's the heat.

Starting to get excited now. But really trying not to, just in case

Hi All,

Can I join you please? Got my BFP on the 1st and confirmed with a digi yesterday. Should be due on 7th March 2016 if my dates are right.

I'm not feeling any different just now (5+0) suppose its quite early yet to be having any symptoms but not feeling anything is making me a tad nervous.

Need to get registered at the Dr's before I even think about booking in with the midwife, we moved recently and I haven't done it yet:eek:

Hi guys - have just updated the list a bit - have got another week to wait for our scan. I should be about 8 weeks at the moment but we shall see what happens at the appointment.

Feeling so nervous given our history - I've really no idea if this will be a sticky one or if we'll lose our 6th too.

Just updating my details I've calculated my EDD from my OV dates in FF rather than LMP as this was a miscarriage cycle so longer than normal. Pretty sure on when I OV'd so hopefully it's close enough, they'll move it about at the scan anyway

Gelly - everything crossed for your scan next week, I really hope this bean is sticky x
