Really sorry to hear that Ian. All the best.
Marie1 - I hope all goes well for you. As lucy has said, it does happen and can be fine.
AFM I have spent 4 hours in A&E as the car I was a passenger in hit the car in front in front and caused a bit of pile up (oops). I'm fine, other than a bit stiff, but more worried about half thumb (OH has named him this time and as it's the size of half a thumb at the moment...). They felt my belly and told me to come back if I start bleeding. Didn't even scan me. Not too impressed.0 -
Oh no rambosmum! I'm sure everything is ok, but can't believe they didn't do a scan to put your mind at rest!
I'm still lurking here as I don't have official dates til my second scan tomorrow, I think I'm around 13 weeks but still nervous until it's properly confirmed with measurements and EDD.
I'm sorry to hear the sad news from some posters, these first few weeks can be the most joyful but the saddest of times.0 -
They were just like 'you'll have to wait and see'. Luckily I'm not too achy today which hopefully means the impact wasn't too severe.0

I've just had some light, pink/red bleeding when I went to the loo. Sorry if TMI but it was quite mucus-y. I'm terrified. Lucky I'm going for scan tmrw anyway, but the next 24 hours is going to feel like an eternity0
-
Oh snowball. I hope everything is ok. Is there any reason for it (i.e. have you DTD or anything?)0
-
Nope, no DTD. Had something similar after that a few weeks back so we've not done it since, I can't relax properly
Been to loo twice since and nothing plus I have no pain (though I'm feeling every tiny twinge now!!), so will just have to keep my fingers crossed.0 -
I'm sure it'll be fine, but mention it at the scan tomorrow. I know I wouldn't be able to stop worrying either. Let us know how you get on.0

IanRi, really sorry about all you are going through, but glad everyone is being supportive.
I told a few people at work the other day, and found out one of my bosses is 12 weeks pregnant! My duties have been altered slightly, I'm not going to be working on call shifts, and not going to be working in certain scanners.
I've started to feel nauseous, and have been retching a few times, quite surprised it's hit me this early! I've also gone off chocolate!!! I'll be 5 weeks on Tuesday. Can't see my GP until the 24th July, when I will be 8 weeks. Hopefully I'll hear from the midwife before then!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -
Oh Rambosmum, really hope you're ok following the accident - how frustrating that they couldn't scan you to make sure everything is ok.
IanRi - I'm so terribly sorry to hear it's bad news. Thinking of you both at this very difficult time - big hugs to you both xxx
Snow_ball - hope you're ok today and the spotting has stopped - good luck for your scan later today.
We've got our appt with recurrent miscarriage specialist tomorrow morning - I guess it's probably an antenatal appt now but really hoping we get a scan as I'm now 7 weeks and haven't had any appointments yet despite my history.
To be honest, I'm not expecting good news - don't really have any symptoms despite taking all the meds and injecting myself daily. Got a horrible feeling again.....Married Sept '09, Me - 38, OH - 40, TTC since Nov '12
4 previous MC's, 6 babies lost so far :A
The proudest mummy - July 2016 xxx0 -
Oh gelly. I do hope you get a scan so you know whats going on.
Good luck for the scan today snowball.
Rambosmum, that's awful. It seems some people get a scan if they sneeze too hard and others don't get one even though they have been in a car accident. Really hope all is OK.
As for me, still no booking in or scan date. I'm 10+3 today and really scared as this is the furthest I have gotten without a scan, although I do feel 'different' this time, nothing is certain until you see it on the screen.
Over did it a bit on decorating at the weekend. Spent about 18 hours over the two days sanding, painting..you name it and now I am sore as anything. Hopefully this wont be bad for the bump?!?
Felt fine all weekend, probably because I was so busy but the ickiness has returned today,
Normally a huge sunshine fan, but not looking forward to the heatwave this week. We have a really hot house normally. The hot water pipes form the tank run under out bedroom floor so its like having under floor heating all year round. Its so bad that I turned the hot water off a week ago and have been having cold washes in the morning since then as I cant face putting it back on.0
