    Oh IanRi,

I'm so sorry to hear this devastating news.

I truly hope that, as Rambosmum has said, there could still be good news after further tests.

Wishing you both lots of love - thinking of you.

Oh, IanRi. I am so sorry to hear that. That must have been really hard news to hear after seeing the little one moving about. I really hope that a second opinion shows something different. Big hugsxx

This is the problem. We're going back for 10:30. Barely slept last night. Her biggest worry is that the termination is going to be so awful on top of this that it's going to put her off trying again.

We've got no family history of it though and it says you get prescribed a much higher dose of folic acid.

So we'd be waiting at least 3 months before trying again.

    Hi IanRi,

Hope the appt is going ok for you both and that there is some hope.

I completely understand about not sleeping - it's such a stressful time for you both but I'm sure I can say on behalf of all of us, you are definitely in our thoughts.

If she does have to go through with a termination, I'm sure there will be support and advice given by the doctors and nurses.

Having been through two ERPC's from missed miscarriages, I would be happy to share my experiences with you both should it be a similar procedure (I'm not sure if it is) but do appreciate it's a very difficult decision.

Will leave it for you to have a think about.

    love and hugs

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Hopefully I'm in the right place! Took a pregnancy test last week as I'd had suspicions for a while, and sure enough, it's positive. I took another one this week as it didn't feel real, but sure enough, confirmed.

Not what my OH and I were planning as we've only been together 4 months! I'm not great at taking notes of dates etc but by my very rough calculations I think I'm due around 12 January - but I'm waiting for a date for a scan to confirm this (or prove me very wrong!).

Seeing the midwife on Tuesday and have told a handful of close friends but am now just playing the waiting game. Does it ever get any easier waiting for the 12 weeks and also that awful feeling that something might be wrong...? Aaargh!!

    And hello again :-)

Early pregnancy: the time in a woman's life characterised by equal mixes of fear, excitement, terror and time standing still.

Congratulations- I take it it's a happy accident? How does OH feel?
