Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Hi everyone

maire1, this is my 4th pregnancy and I have one daughter so I am terrified. My first was a mmc, my second a mc and the third was successful. I'm very early still but terrified each time I go to the loo really I would love to just wish away the next few weeks.

I told my immediate manager yesterday despite being so early but there are certain patients I cannot see whilst pregnant (due to either their condition/ treatments) and also a large part of my role involves moving and handling and I am not prepared to take any risks so needed her to be aware so I can delegate or "train" up other staff where necessary. She's over the moon for me, and shared that she is 10 weeks pregnant! She has also had multiple losses so understands where I am coming from. That is a relief although no one else will be told until I'm certain of things/ absolutely have to.

Apart from complete exhaustion I am feeling ok; hope that everyone has a good weekend.

Re mat clothes, a lot of places don't keep maternity stock in store but you can order it in and go in to try it on.

Just booked my booking in appt for the 6th July; all being well I will be with the same midwife I had last time.
I am mentally crossing off the sleeps each night. I also did another test today; line is darker but I've also been looking up prices and places near me that do early scans.

I need something that will occupy my mind and avert my fears

Maire1, My fingers are crossed that you have some good news in a couple of weeks. Big hugs.

It is so hard not to think about it. I am slowly starting to get the mindset that worrying about what may be will absolutely not change the outcome whatsover. I do have dodgy moments when I google the hell out of something on my mind, but try not to do this too much.

Still find it crazy though that I can view stars through a telescope millions of miles away easier than I can view what is going on in my own tummy.

Anyone else feel like they have 'something' in their belly yet. I have this weird feeling every now and then, and if I rub my hand over, I can fell a hard lump above my pelvic bone, but sometimes I don't. Also feel very heavy down there if that makes sense.

Morning sickness almost non existent today so freaking out a little bit.

I NEED A SCAN!!! Hurry up midwife and call me please!

I too feel like a I have 'something' in my belly and I'm definitely getting a 'mound' which only I can see when I look down towards my feet or run a hand over my belly it's quite hard.

The wall has been knocked down and the replastering has been done. My entire house looks like an oompa lumpa there is so much brick dust all over the place.

Just graduated myself, had the scan on Thurs and all seemed ok. I'm 12 weeks today, which seems a good time to move on.

4 days til scan! OH had a sharp pain in pelvis region in the night that woke her up. It didn't last long though and she feels fine this morning. Hopefully just growing pains.

Combination of imminent Ofsted (almost certainly coming next week) and the scan on Wednesday is leading to a lovely panic filled weekend!
