Just back from my second early scan and everything looks okay, little one even threw a few moves and waved to the camera! The nurses said the heartbeat is really strong and I've now been officially discharged from the fertility clinic. They said the next time they want to see me is sometime next spring with a little one... Booking in appointment is tomorrow morning at 9am

Booking in appointment all done, I peed in a jar, had loads of blood taken (6 vials!) answered some questions and told to come back when I'm 16 weeks.

Feeling really really sick now. This might be the start of morning sickness proper now. Not sure how I'll be at work tomorrow. I'm out the office on visits all day

Due to my revised due date, I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow so I guess I'll be moving onto another thread? Doesn't seem so long ago I joined this thread (I found out late) and what a roller coaster it's been so far!

Thank you to all you ladies who answered questions quickly and positively, and good luck to all those with BFP's and waiting on scan dates etc

8+4 today. Whilst I haven't actually been sick (yet), I do have feel travel sick most days (best way I can describe it). I have had two good days in the last couple of weeks, but its pretty constant. If I am busy, I notice it less though.

I did tell my boss yesterday who is very excited. He is brilliant with all this. Had to calm him down a bit and kept telling him I am only telling early in case we get bad news in the next couple of weeks and I need time off. I didn't want to give short notice again.

And still not heard from the MW......might call today.

Also suffering from hayfever today. Usually double dose on the antihistamines but cant now

Oh, and is anyone else sleeping like a zombie. I am going to sleep at 8.30-9 every night and not waking up until 6 with just the odd night time pee break. Still wake up feeling hungover though.

Frozenpenguin - good news that you've been discharged from the fertility clinic - do you just go to NHS midwife from now on then?

I was shadowing a colleague this morning and threw up out the window of her car - had to explain myself, oops!

Rambosmum - Yup, it's just the midwives from now on (although the lovely ladies at the fertility clinic did say they would still answer any questions if I rang up). Booking in appointment went well today too, they took 3 vials of blood and I got a slight telling off for my BMI hovering on the 30 mark. Ah well


I know what you mean about the zombie thing too - it seems to take me a while to drop off, then I sleep like an absolute log (with one or two pee breaks) but still wake up yawning!
