We had our first scan yesterday too. I'm 11 weeks-ish but unfortunately it was just a little too early for screening tests, plus Baby was all curled up tight refusing to budge, so struggled getting measurements :o So back again in 2 weeks for another go.

Saw a lovely heartbeat though and got a very clear picture which is amazing. And we get another look in 2 weeks so bonus!
  • Congrats to the newbies and graduates, and such good news for all the scans :j

Rambosmum, I also have bad dreams when pregnant. They can be proper horror style, very graphic. Not nice Hun.

It's my scan on Wednesday, and getting worried something has gone wrong, but still feeling as sick and tired as ever, so not sure why.

That's just reminded me Diamond Orchid, I had a horrible dream about 3-4 weeks ago, definitely horror style and very graphic. My dreams in general have been much more vivid but that was off the scale.

So I have just had a faint but definitely there positive. I'm terrified as though we are trying for a second, I had two miscarriages before success with our first.

Am holding and crossing everything that this little one will be sticky!

Where do they go indeed? I've been here nearly 15 years.

This baby is my 4th and final baby. I'm 6 weeks now and starting to feel nauseous but have kept it at bay with ginger sweets and mints. DH has been fantastic by taking the children to ballet etc on a Saturday so I can rest. Only 5 weeks of school left then it's summer holidays and no school runs etc :T

Well i have nearly made it to 8 weeks with no bleeding, do feeling a tiny bit more hopeful that this isn't going to he MC3!

Feel rather nauseous, although at least the horrendous nausea has gone, my boobs still hurt, i am very tired, and I have this constant vile taste in my mouth like i have been sucking coins. Bleugh. Anyone else have this??

    Welcome to all the newbies!

I can't wait until the school holidays when I can feel nauseous from the comfort of home!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Welcome saffagirl, and congratulations.

Pinkshoes- fingers crossed everything remains good for you.

I hope everyone else is doing ok. I'm glad I'm not the only one with weird dreams!

From weeks of almost constant nausea, the stomach pain came back on Friday, I was almost in tears it was so bad. Pretty sure it's just IBS. It went away when I started my new pill about 7 years ago so makes a bit of sense it would come back when I came off it. Just need to readjust my diet. I've lost 3lbs though (I have it to lose, so not worried, just been eating little and often and less cr*p than normal, trying to give bean what it needs).

This morning I was actually sick, right in front of OH who seems to think I've been making my nausea up because I've not 'really been sick. Well I was definitely sick this morning whilst he as brushing his teeth, made him gag, poor thing.

OH is pleased about bean but you can tell that he's not really connected to it yet, he doesn't 'get it' IYKNWIM? I figure this will change as I get a bump and he can 'see' bean.

8+6 today and midwife at 12. 3 weeks Thursday until scan.

Oh, and if anyone is making predictions, I think I'm having a boy, don't know why, just feel like that this week. 31 weeks until I find out!
