Aaah thank you all for the warm welcome.

I'm going to keep a low profile for now until we know a bit more - I always going into it full force and with a positive attitude but am just so wary now after so many losses.

Had a big nosebleed this morning that wouldn't stop for 15-20 mins - had to get dressed again as I got it on my clothes so I was a little late for work this morning but it can't be helped. If that's all the bleeding I have this time, I don't mind it coming out of that end! :rotfl:

Really hoping I'll hear from the EPU again today although I strongly suspect it will be tomorrow morning - we shall see.

Think I'm 4 weeks today as I OV'd late this month but going by my LMP, the due date calculators think I'm due approx 17th Feb - 2 days after my 37th birthday.

Keeping everything crossed

Hi Gelly and welcome!

I just wanted to wish you luck and to say I had nosebleeds throughout my first pregnancy, which was most unpleasant, to say the least!

Also, 17 February is a great day - it's my mum's birthday and a friend of mine had her baby on that day as well .

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. I have my booking in appointment next Monday and my scan 4 weeks Thursday when I'll 12+2.

Despite having seen the heartbeat on the EPAU scan last week I can't help but worry. I know that my risk of mc is now down to about 3% which is really good but you just don't stop worrying do you?

We've decided to tell OHs parents on fathers day, but leave mine until after the 12 week scan and just not mention that the others knew first. If my mum asks why I didn't tell her earlier I'll say because I didn't trust her to keep her mouth shut, which is true- I told her I'd got engaged before anyone else because I thought she'd want to know first and then went round to see other family members to be greeted at the door with 'congratulations, your mum's just been on the phone', in the end we only got to tell OHs very small family and our friends I was very miffed!

I took a boots test on Saturday which was 5 days before af due, a pink faint line, so took a cb digi on sunday confirmed 1-2 weeks preg





















had to take a pic of the result from my phone as forgot to take one with my camera,




my hubby and I have been trying for 9 months, so we're over the moon now we have 2 other boys, 6 and 9.

Just back from todays Scan and dates on scan place me at 12 +1 and Due date revised to 20-12. Like others I had to do the whole shake it about a bit to get Baby to behave and ideally turn. Baby was more concerned at turning its back on us and waving slyly over its shoulder.

So big congrats for all the new BFPs and hopefully I'll see on you on the next thread!

Still waiting for booking in appt.....zzzzzzzzzz............

Had that weird hangover type feeling for the last week, which I think is my version of MS. Feels better when I eat. I get in first thing, and it just sort of bubbles under the surface all day. I don't feel like I need to be sick though.

Has anyone told work yet. I am torn between telling my boss (who has been great in the past with previous MC's) in the next week or so in case I need some time off soon and not telling until I know one way or the other.

What are others doing?

I told my boss and close colleagues very early, partly to make is easier to get the time off for appointments and partly because if anything goes wrong I know I'll need their support. We're a small, close team though so it was an easy decision for me.
