Glad your feeling better miss I and good news the doctor isn't overly worried! Do you mind me asking how many weeks were you when you first bled? Should I expect a bled? I have so many things to ask my doctor haha!
Thanks for adding me to the list cm ace hope Thursday goes well.
Great photo Disney!!0 -
I think bleeds are more common than you think. I had a pedicure yesterday and was talking to the lady all about pregnancy etc (had to tell them I was pregnant as they change the stuff they do and I wasn't getting a massage like I normally do!) and she said she had a really bad bleed at 6 weeks....her son turned out fine though. Of course it doesn't always turn out fine so it must be terrifying if it happens. But I think it is another one of those things that they don't tell you about pregnancy!0

Bleeding seems to be very common in pregnancy but it's another one of those things that isn't talked about much and if it does happen us such a worry. Hopefully everything is calming down for you now cmace.
My mum over the last couple of weeks has been going shopping and putting in something extra like wipes, cotton wool etc and said she will do that every week so we have a bunch of stuff in the end and she hasn't really noticed the extra money as it's been spread over weeks. Once we have had our 20 week scan I'm going to start doing the same! After my scan Friday we were out shopping so had a look at some prams and Moses baskets etc, it's so exciting. Now I'm over 12 weeks and had the scan I feel I can look now kind of lol.
All my symptoms seem to have gone now apart from the fact I'm still not hungry and can't eat big portions. Even my skins getting better. I have to say drink wise I'm not missing it at all but that may be because I wasn't really a drinker before I was pregnant.
Hope your all having a good Sunday.0 -

I don't mind you asking at all!My first bleed was when I was about 6w4d - again, started out of nowhere as quite a gush and seemed far too heavy to me (especially with the clots), hence why I braced myself for the worst. It tapered off and stopped after a few hours. Barely filled a couple of pads eventually, which is the doctors indicator of how heavy/bad it is. Second bleed was at 9w4d (last Wednesday); again, started out of nowhere and was quite a gush. Barely filled a pad though and the doctor said it was minimal bleeding (didn't seem it to me!). Tapered off after a couple of hours and have gone back to my usual spotting since.
I don't know whether you should expect a bleed to be honest - I certainly wasn't expecting to have one! But when I was discussing my first bleed with a work colleague (who guessed I was pregnant after my absence and rushing to the loo frequently) she said it was probably an implantation bleed and was quite common. Might be best to just be aware it might be a possibility, and it may not happen to you! But if it does happen to you don't hesitate to go and get checked out - the doctors last week said to me they'd rather we go in and get checked out and reassured, rather than us sitting at home worrying ourselves sick.
As you say Disney, bleeding/spotting seems to be relatively common but one of those pregnancy things that no one seems to discuss with you until you've experienced it! Also, wonderful scan picture! So glad that all is going so well for you. :T

Morning,
What a beautiful day and its not raining here. its my last day of annual leave though. I might go out for a walk later as all I've done the last 4 days is vegetate on the sofa. If anyone has Lovefilm instant and likes police dramas I recommend Crossing Lines.
That's a really good scan pic Disney :-)
I went to M&S last night a got one of their sparkling juice 'wines', its really nice. Sainsbury's do a nice sparkling non alcoholic wine.
Good luck with your scan Cmace2 and I hope you aren't to stressed.0 -

Hi all, can I join too? Although I'm nervous of tempting fate by even joining in!
Peonie, how are you feeling now? I'm still getting some pains, and I didn't test again this morning (I forgot) and am now stressing that it was all a bit of a dream.
Thanks Jay for the recommendation. I'm always looking for new TV shows!0 -
Sorry - a few details would probably help... Got a BFP yesterday, ClearBlue 2-3 weeks. It was an IVF cycle so I know I am 4+4 now. I haven't spoken to any doctors yet, so not sure what the next steps are.
Tentative EDD is 8 October. Which is my wedding anniversary.0
