Agree with Miss I don't stress about it. I'm just going to do my best to eat healthily and get some exercise - that's all you can do really.

My skin is shocking at the minute. I was prescribed Tetracyline tablets and Differin cream for my acne but I stopped using both when I got my BFP. My spots are on my cheeks and extremely painful. They just stay there sore under the skin for weeks.


I am going to get a GP appointment and see if there is anything safe they can prescribe. I have read Erythromycin is safe but as this is a new GP and they did not see how severe it was before then they might be reluctant to give me anything.

Hi everyone,

My BMI is 30 and I got told while pregnant isn't the time to loose weight but just don't eat for 2 either. However since my morning sickness I've actually lost 10 pounds so puts my BMI down to 28 so I'm going to try and keep that off and just put on pregnancy weight. As long as you don't get diabetes or pre eclampsia then the midwife shouldn't be concerned.

Jen my skin has been awful but im hoping I'm coming to the end if it now. See what the doctors say but they may just say its hormonal.

Cmace and Purcy good luck with the scans Thursday.

Well I had my scan yesterday and been bought forward a week again. So I'm 12 weeks today and due 16/08/14. Two arms, Two legs and a beating heartbeat. Everything looks fine! Baby's arm was above its head and it was waving. Husband and I did get very emotional.

I guess I need to leave this thread now and head onto the next one. I may hang around for a week or so yet though if no one minds. Hope your all well.

Well I've still been bleeding today but I'm only using a little pad and the blood is browner so I'm not going to worry about it and wait til scan on Thursday. Scared to use Doppler though in case I can't hear heartbeat and panic again!! But then I heard baby's heartbeat the night before the big bleed and still panicked haha!
