WELCOME Peonie and time2deal! So exciting to see you here :) (sorry I know I am weird but I sometimes read the TTC 12+ thread, as I knew someone who posted on there, and was so thrilled in a weird stranger on the Internet way to see your BFPs).

T2D oooo, then mine might be the 8th too as we did EC and ET and on the same day. The majority of people in our family, including us, are born in October so it will be nice to have another. As long as it stays and is healthy.

Why is it that I've wanted this for so long and now it's scary.

I'm not sure about the pains. It could still be the added progesterone in my system. Yesterday I got a horrible burning taste for hours that I could not get rid of. I'm very tired.

Have you changed from underwire to grandma bras?

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

We just went out and bought a car! :D we only have one at the moment and I take hubby to the station every morning at 5am which is not going to be possible with a baby, but also whilst feeling rubbish and pregnant. We were planning on getting a second car this year anyway but this just sort of prompted us :)

And my parents are coming round this evening for dinner and we are going to tell them the news...eek! First grandchild. I hope they will be thrilled...it is scary and I know it is really early days but if I mced I'd need my mum anyway so there does not seem to be any reason not to tell them.

Sorry, I forgot to say T2D - phone the clinic tomorrow, I'm sure you'll be given an early scan and they won't wait until 12 weeks. I'd be surprised if you did not get more scans than the rest of us.

    I know!! Isn't it amazing!!

Yes, I expect I will be scanned on a regular basis. I also think (but will wait to find out) that they will probably do another small operation to put in a stitch where the cervix should be. A cerclage.

My oncologist did tell me that he wants to refer me to a specific obstetrician who has had a few patients like me, so I'll find all that out. I just hope my private health will cover this new doctor... they are a bit fussy, and my doctor seems to always refer me to the best people - but also the most expensive!

The oncologist will be pleased. He was part of developing this 'fertility sparing' surgery for cervical cancer, and so every successful conception improves his stats.

Should I move to a granny bra? My b00bs are massive at the best of times, and they are massiver (sp) now. And heavier - like they are full of water. Never knew what people meant when they said 'heavier feeling' b00bs. I'm still comfy in the underwire, so will stick with them for the moment.

I had a proper bra fitting a few years ago, and have about 4 proper expensive bras that are super comfortable. Worth every penny.

I am sticking in underwire as long as possible. Not sure non-underwired would remotely contain my 34Gs! :o

Sorry if this is too personal but....has anyone else noticed any changes in their nipples? :o

Hope you don't mind a reader/lurker/stalker popping in to add some bra wisdom - I wore underwired (but correctly fitted) bras for most of 3 successful pregnancies, never had any breast problems and breastfed each baby for about a year. Obviously changed to non-wired bras close to due date each time. My friend is a midwife and a breastfeeding counsellor, she says underwires are ok if your bra is properly fitted - it's ill fitting wired bras which can cause a problem.
