Thank you for the advice
My doctors is closed so have called NHS 24 and they are calling me back. Really hoping I get sent for an early scan, that would help put my mind at rest. Really appreciate the replies, so helpful to have people who understand and are able to help
Will keep you updated....

thinking of you Pinkshoes!
CCL - I hope you get to see/speak with someone soon. If your concerned, don't take no for an answer and get an appointment with someone.
I’m 10+1 and I still haven't heard anything about when my booking in appointment will be. I started thinking this weekend that maybe they had lost my details. So I went on their website and found this
"When you are about 10 weeks pregnancy, a midwife will either call you, or text you, to arrange a booking appointment, which usually takes place in the 10th or 11th week of pregnancy. At this appointment you will also receive details of your 12-week scan."
Am I just being impatient if I call them to ask when my appointment maybe!
My concern is I need 1 weeks’ notice to get time off work which means I can’t do anything until next week as is!
I’m such an organized person I hate not knowing when it will be.0 -
Hi crazy cat lady, I agree with the advice already given, but I just wanted to say, in case it's any reassurance, I also had some brown blood and discharge about four weeks ago when I was seven weeks. My midwife referred me for a scan and everything was fine. Brown blood is old blood and the midwife I saw at the hospital mentioned that it probably coincided with when my period would've been due. Hopefully that's the case for you too, but I hope you get scan soon for more reassurance x0

Hi Milly, I don't think you'd be being impatient if you called them! Just tell then you need to know when to book time off. The worst they can say is no they can't help you/tell you today but at least that's an answer of sorts! X0

I've asked this on the 12-24 thread but it's very quiet over there.
Has anyone else started to get a furry tummy?
I've noticed a covering of light, downy hair that has appeared on mine. Much more than anything there was before! I wondered if it might be a common "keep the beans warm" type of thing.0 -
no furry tummy last time round with DD1, just the black linea nigra line and a really dark black coloration inside my tummy button - I spend ages trying to "clean" it out until I realised it was supposed to be there ! keeping it warm does seem like a good idea though !0

Yes! Unfortunately I've had a bit of hair below the belly-button for a couple of years now, but now I have noticed a bit just above. So glamorous (not!) It's a good thing I was not planning to get the bump out anyway
Not only I am hairy.... as if my ego needed any further knocks, over the weekend I discovered that due to my age (35, 36 when I deliver) my pregnancy is deemed a 'Geriatric pregnancy!'0 -

Hi, I've posted this same thing on the TTC board but I think it may be a good idea to ask you girls too.
I took my last pill on the 3rd and my final withdrawal bleed was 7th-12th. When I went to the loo yesterday I wiped and there was CM (fairly stretchy and white-ish) but it was streaked pink/red too. I've never had this before so wondering what it is and I've not had it since. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Hugs CrazyCatLady, hope everything turns out ok.
Milly, no, you're not being impatient at all!!!
Pington, no furry tummy here (yet?!)
Danielley, I'm geriatric too!!!!
Lulu, sorry, no experience of pill stuff. The only thing I can think of is that it is possible to have a tiny bit of blood at the time of ovulation. Don't know if that might be at all relevant!!! Hope someone replies soon who can advise you better!
I can't wait for the midwife apt tomorrow afternoon!!!!! :jRock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0
