Well I tried phoning the EPU, only to get hung up on THREE times, and the staff sounding annoyed at having to speak to someone.

I then got told that they won't bother doing another scan as I've had a private one, I can just come in and chat to the doctor to discuss what happens next. It's a 50 mile round trip, so better be worth it and not something that I could have done over the phone!

If I'd had the early scan I was supposed to have, I would have found this out a few weeks ago. I am only pleased that I paid for a private scan rather than waiting another 2 to 4 weeks for the NHS one.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    hello maysie

welcome, i was also a gps carrier and emergency c section grrr
how did they treat you with following pregnancies re gps? ie did they want to test you.

    laura

Well there was a 8 year gap between pregnancys. They wrote it on my notes and that was it i think. I know they took a swab when i was in hospital but that was for mrsa they do everyone i think. All was well though.

From recollection the rememdies used with varying success for constipation were:

    fructulose
    liquorice
    'proper' coffee
    prune juice

There will be others I am sure but that is all I can remember.

I am 34+4 and have had on/off cramps all the time

Smell was what made me feel the most sick

PS by the time you get to the big girl's thread you realise that dates are guesstimates! Some give birth at only 36 weeks, some are induced at 42 weeks so just move aorund the threads and post when and where you want :D

    I have a few tips

Desert Spoonful of linseeds i like them on plain yogurt with a dollop of lemon curd. The trick is you have to drink a pint of water. They usually work within a few hours and its gentle not horrid pains and dash to the loo.

Thinking about it I wonder if i could make some muffins with bran linseeds and some chopped crystallised ginger.

Proper big oranges cut into segments eat the flesh its a natural easy fibre.

Had a private scan today as NHS too busy to do early one.

No heartbeat. Empty sack measuring 6 weeks. They asked if I could be earlier than 10 weeks but I doubt it.

Next step EPU I guess but I think this is the end of the road for me and bean. Gutted.

Sorry to hear that its a horrible feeling i had a mc before my last child. Watch out for hormones i felt pregnant for nearly 2 months after. All the best in future.
