Gleeful- I had a scan with babybond at 6 weeks something. I live in Liverpool but we went to Manchester as they could fit us in quicker and would scan internally. It was expensive but they were the only company that offered internal scan which I knew i'd need due to uterine issues. We saw the heart beat on that but the sonographer thought it had not long started beating- she said we probably wouldn't have seen it if we'd have gone a couple of days earlier. We went back to the same place at about 9 weeks and the change was unbelievable- from a blob with no discernable relation to a baby to a mini human. If you can push the wait then I would recommend doing so but I fully appreciate the reassurance these scans offer at the time. I went a bit mad in my first trimester and was convinced something had happened so they were really beneficial for me- not so much my credit card though!

Great idea to update the lists Tilly, I hope you don't mind but I had some time on my hands this morning so I went through past posts up to the start of August and put a list together. I also used the latest lists done by Mrs_T_M, so if anyone's details have changed then post here so one of us can update or just copy and paste and amend yourself, the same applies if you want to be added or even taken off. I don't think we need to post them daily like the TTC board as a lot of time now is spent waiting for scans, so perhaps one of us could re-post and update weekly? We'll see what people think

Aww Aunty Pickle, sorry to hear you're having the opposite problem! I guess I've got to be thankful for being able to eat at all, although I know the heartburn will probably kick inn soon... I've been having bouts of nausea but it's more when I think of certain foods, rather than actually smell them. The smell makes me hungry!

Tilly Dreams, you're right about the spots! I thought I'd left this teenager stuff behind me ten years ago!

Sorry I've still no details to post, haven't been able to find my phone to even phone the doctor's surgery.

I hope you've enjoyed your bank holiday, it's been nice most of the weekend but it's been a wet and miserable one all day here today

Anyways, to pass the time I thought I'd ask you all another question... a few of us have been mentioning our symptoms, my main ones being constipation and tender boobs, but have any of you experienced mood swings and irritability? My poor OH can do no right at the moment, I'm constantly snapping at him and getting wound up with every little thing he does, I've been such a moody cow! I'm not saying he's faultless all the time (he is a man of course ) but I've never been this bad with him. I can only blame this on being pregnant, as does he bless him, but I hope it doesn't last! I have to take myself out of the room sometimes because I know if I stay I'll end up being Queen B!tch and saying something really horrible Please some of you tell me that I'm not the only one being a nightmare to live with at only 7 weeks!!

delurking - no you're not the only one who's turned into a hormonal nightmare missymoo! I think pretty much all of us have been there. At the moment I'm getting narked at my hubby when he breathes in my direction whilst we're in bed, I mean how mean is that!
