Angel glad the scan went well and you feel reassured. It has now got me thinking about it, at how many weeks did you go? Would you mind also saying how much it cost?
Not sure about the one I found on Google closest to me, sounds like a one man job, but everywhere else at proper businesses are too far. Can anyone recommend where to go for a private scan in south Devon?
Tink happy birthday, hope you had a Lovely day
Gelly hope the bleeding has stopped0 -
Happy birthday Tinks! Hope you're having a lovely day xxx
Tia, I've had two. One at 7+2 as I just couldn't believe there was a baby in there, when we'd been told it wouldn't happen. We saw the heartbeat very clearly but there wasn't much detail, the baby looked like a little prawn. That scan was £100.
Then yesterday at 9+2 we had a second one at a different clinic (as the one we'd been to previously had no appointments) due to me having freaked out and convinced myself something was wrong, and that was £80. The costs seem to be around £80-100 depending on the clinic for an early scan. I would say it's worth it just for peace of mind.0 -
Oh I forgot what I meant to tell you - I think I've lost the plot. I spent an hour today looking at websites of barristers chambers to see the names of all the barristers, as I want our baby to have a name that would be fitting for a successful profession. I am only nine weeks pregnant !!!!!!, and also I've worked with a barrister called Spike (his actual name) which isn't really what I have in mind! Really need to forget about names for months yet!0
