    I've been Money Tipped!
Wow that's fantastic Tink and great you could see so much detail :) you must be thrilled.

Haven't been on in a few days as I've been busy with various things. This morning I went to the loo and when I wiped saw a small amount of dark red blood, not spotting or anything but it was there. I've also got mild tummy cramps so I'm keeping an eye on things and praying all is ok!

What a worry these babies are sometimes! I had two spotting 'scares' with my first DD at 6 and 16 weeks and all was fine with her so I'm trying to think positive!

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Trying to live a good life on little money :T

Fingers crossed that that's the only scare you get b_girl. I keep saying to DH that this baby is gonna be so well behaved when she's born to make up for being such a little sh*t now! Haha.

Tink that scan looks lovely, so pleased for you.

Angel your post about googling barristers names made me laugh so much. I don't think I'll go to such extremes but fair play to you!

I'm off sick from work today. My fourth and worst day of morning sickness. I had it all through the night, didn't sleep a wink. All I've eaten today are 3 dry crackers. I can't face going into the kitchen :( I keep wondering whether the beginning of the sickness is normally the worst, while my body is getting used to the hormones. Please tell me that's true :(

Angel thanks for the info on costs of scans, having seen Tinks photo I think I definitely want an early scan! Just don't know whether to get it done at 7 weeks and feel reassured for now or wait until 9 weeks when you might see more. My OH thinks I am mad for wanting an early scan and thinks I should just wait for the NHS one so no way he will let me pay for 2.

Love actually I have been told my midwife appointment will be 40 mins.

Tink what a great scan image

Mouthscradle I will take your symptoms off you! Would like something to suggest I am actually pregnant. Will prob regret saying that in a few weeks!

Tia - Having had scans at 7w 7+4 & 9 weeks I would say by far the best and most detailed was the one today the difference in the development was unreal.
We got to see the heartbeat the limbs growing etc starting to look like a baby & not just a blob!
We have called it Le Frog as in parts of the scan it did look like a Frog !! Hubby wanted to call it Kermit!!!!!!!!
If you can think it........it will happen

Just updated list as have my scan date through. 22 days to wait...

Tink - the scan pic is fab, glad all is ok.

Mouthscradle - hope you feel a bit better.
  • Delurking! Tia, I had private scans at 6 weeks and 9+5. It's worth waiting til at least 9 weeks imo. That said both scans massively reassured me and stopped the constant stressing so it really depends what the purpose of the scan is for you. :)

Angeltreats, your barrister watching did make me laugh :) I guess barrister names for your little one might be different to barristers 25-60 years older than them!

What a great scan pic tinkwings :)

Hope the blood is nothing to worry about b-girl

Daisiegg, that info about the first appointment and free prescription form is really useful - thank you :T

Mouthscradle, sorry you've had rotten sickness the last few days. I've had a light dull ache in my tum the last couple of weeks, mainly afternoons and evenings, like the warning shot of period pains coming, but way less painful. I did feel a bit queasy after breakfast this morning, and have felt a teensy bit dizzy on occasion, but my symptoms are minimal enough to wonder if I'm exaggerating them in my head! Oh, and sore sore boobs today!
