Hi All,

Glad your scan went well Monty.

Hugs Tink and Angel - this journey after years of problems is always difficult because we are always very anxious and stressed thinking about the what is situations.

Tia - I am also having lower back pains and Dr Google says that it is because our bodies are trying to adjust to the growth and hence the pain nothing to worry about.

afm - had my early pregnancy scan today and it was an amazing experience. we saw the little flicker of the heart beat beating away and the small bean. it was all so surreal.

can't wait for the 12 week scan to see my baby again. 6+1 today. officially discharged from IVF unit to GP now.

So pleased for you LA, Monty, Ali & Tink! It's amazing seeing our wee babies on screen, makes you fall instantly in love!

Boat girl - so sorry for your loss, big hugs. Although it means you don't need to make an unthinkable decision, it doesn't take away the pain. Take care of yourself. X

Angel - sorry you are feeling so stressed, I sympathise. Mention your anxiety to the mw to see if they can help reassure, or could you consider a private scan? (Think someone else mentioned this) they are about £100 at a private clinic here, so not cheap but not horrendously expensive. Hugs to you.

I have backpains every so often and did first time around so i wouldn't worry unless they are severe.

Waiting on my scan letter still, hopefully will come in the next week or so.

I was hoping you wouldn't mind if I popped back to join this thread again?

We got our BFP on Wednesday and so by my dates, I think I'm just 4 weeks today so super early.

After losing the triplet pregnancy in January, I feel like we're in a strange place as last time, I was nervous but naive - this time, I feel incredibly worried about what might happen.

Have spoken to my GP by phone already (she's been fab) and because of the history, I have to go in and see them on Tuesday as they might refer me to a consultant early on and hopefully get an early scan.

So far no real symptoms although I have noticed I'm finding it harder to clean my tongue when I do my teeth - the gagging is coming back already.

Monty, LoveActually, Tink & Ali- it's fab news that your scans went well - so happy for you all.

Sewit - wishing you lots of luck today, I'll be thinking of you.

Boat Girl - so terribly sorry to hear you news - I understand so if you want to talk about it, please feel free to PM or chat on the MC thread - they helped me so much.

So I am busy trying to keep busy and keep my PMA up which is sometimes easier said than done just trying to get myself to Monday when we have our next scan .....

I do totally understand your stresses and concerns early pregnancy is a mine field for you which for like me and others is made with by a history of mmc/mc etc . I was given a little gem that has stuck ... Each pregnancy is unique and a whole set of DNA and genes ... Your past does not dictate your future xxx

Just for devil meant today I poas but a ovulation stick and it came up + !!!! X

I had my follow up early scan this morning. They could see the gestational sac and yolk sac today, in the right place thank goodness! No fetal pole though but they said it might just be too early. Am 5+4 today by my dates. They said corpus luteum cyst is on left ovary but I have a different cyst on right ovary, maybe that's what has been causing my pain? Another scan next Friday to check for an embryo.

Oh and today has been my first day of morning sickness. Started this morning and is still here with a vengeance.
