boatgirl - so sorry to hear your news but as others say I suppose in one way it's easier the decision has been taken out of your hands. if you need it, you hopefully know about the mc thread

Boatgirl - sorry to hear for your loss - definatly recommend the MC thread xx

I bought two from M&S for £28. I had planned just to get measured but the relief of putting on a non wired, larger bra was so great I refused to take it off!

Yes, exhaustion. Mine hit about 3 1/2 weeks in and to be honest is still here at 15+3 although slowly improving.

monty-doggy - good luck with the scan.

timeflies - you don't have to go to a group appointment. Someone on here was also given one, didn't want it, went, found it unhelpful and when she explained the reasons to the mw she said she could have arranged a one to one instead. So up to you. Think they will explain it better and they were also scuppered by some kind of officious receptionist.

NHS trusts vary massively as to whether they offer scans before 12 weeks - on the whole the answer is no as there can be a wait for the normal 12 week ones where people go at 13 weeks and they are saving slots for emergencies with symptoms like bleeding and cramping. Are you able to afford a private one for peace of mind?

Just a bit of stuff and nonsense (although still made me cry - wretched hormones) http://sftimes.co/?id=493&src=share_fb_new_493

Sorry to hear of your loss Boatgirl

Good luck at the scan today Monty-doggy

timeflies- I also have a choice of hospitals in my area- although none are in my home town. My sisters have had babies at 2 of them, however I'm not telling my family just yet. OH and I are just going to drive to the hospitals over the weekend and see which one looks better for the journey- thats all we can go on at the moment.

Still exhausted- found myself doing some really silly things out of my normal routine yesterday as my brain didn't seem to function properly.

    Good luck today Monty xx

We didn't get our scan until I was exactly 13 weeks, not exactly late but I would try and push for it earlier if we do this again. I think there is just that expectation that if you make it to 12 weeks everything is fine and you start to relax which makes it harder.

Good luck everyone I will be watching the thread but will move off now, not ready to join the conceiving thread yet but hopefully will be back here at some point.

Monty - Good Luck for your scan

Boat Girl - Sending love & hugs xxxx

So MW appointment was rushed but ok as she is in her last week before moving away back to her family ..... I am booked in for my scan on 19 May when I will be 12 weeks ...... I am just nervous about Sunday as it's my birthday and the gestational stage/age of our last MC which still haunts me to this day.... I am glad that we are having a scan on Monday morning at the fertility clinic.

One day at a time ............. One day at a time...............
If you can think it........it will happen

Monty I hope the scan went well

    Tink keep thinking positive

Angel i understand what you mean. I am feeling very negative today, have had bad back ache the last two days and stomach cramps, I can understand the cramps but surely it is way too soon for back ache (5-6 weeks)

Oh I hadn't thought of that shorty, driving over to check out the journey, I guess I'll have to do it sometime! ;)

Glad you got your bras sorted lilmissreading. I've had a little boob tenderness, but not much really, until last night, just in one boob, my bra seemedto be really digging in. Maybe I am growing after all, I thought, til I took the bra off and saw the underwire was snapped. Twit!

My best friend suggested meeting up this weekend, and I was trying to work out how to steer away from the wine bar - have suggested daytime shopping instead:)

Well ladies my scan was brilliant! I got all emotional and my eyes were watering! Little bubba thinks I'm a bouncey castle and was jumping about all over the place and waggling it's hands around! I was so relieved! I opted not to have the downs screening, I'm not sure how I feel about it but I don't want the heartache decision given this may be the only baby I'm ever able to conceive and carry. The odds are so low I'd rather forget about it.

One little surprise though! Baby is due on Halloween of all days!

I'm officially moving up the thread now, but will be following all your progress! Xxx
