Thanks Monty and wends, I think I will be around 10 weeks which is why I am a bit concerned about how soon after I will then get my scan

They can move pretty quickly, try not to worry

Are you a straight forward pregnancy? Or have you had trouble conceiving or medical problems?

I had just been told I was going to be given clomid so wasn't expecting a natural bfp, not sure if this may hurry things along. Have told the doctors but guess I should also ring the clinic!

You need to call the midwife, and explain you'd like an early booking in appointment as you have a few concerns, I got mine at 7 weeks

Just delurking to say don't worry tia86, my booking in appt was at 10 weeks and my scan was still at 12 weeks. I think that is a fairly normal timescale. And congratulations!

Hopefully they will be able to get you in earlier fir an appointment, definitely worth a try. I know it's a bit worrying but they should be able to get a scan sorted pretty quick for you.

Hi Ladies

Thanks for the well wishes and I am officially 12 weeks and 2 days so not a major change to my dates as I thought I was 12 weeks exactly today.

The scan was amazing sproglet was playing nice for the measurements then started moving heaps and waving and kicking. Don't know what I was worried about now lol. One thing we weren't aware of was that the booking in appointment could take up to 3 hours, luckily it was only an hours wait so be prepared with drinks and snacks.

Welcome to the new ladies and although I'm moving up to the next thread I'm still going to lurk on here.
