Hi Ladies

Hope that you're all doing well after the easter break. I can't believe it's back to work tomorrow but on the plus side I'm in late as I have my scan first thing in the morning.

I'm starting to worry about it and I'm excited too. Just want it over and done with so that I know everything's alright and I'm not a fraud lol. DH asked how many pictures would we get as he wants to take one in to work and show off bless him.

Monty I can't believe that a junior was made to call you and ask such personal questions. Thank goodness for your OH being so supportive of you. I really hope that it gets sorted for you even if it is through sick leave and a grievance and I second not answering the phone to anyone but HR if possible.

Best get settled and try to sleep ready for tomorrow xx

Did an at home test yesterday and GP today asked me to book and appointment with the midwife - waiting for them to call me back!

I am so up and down I think it's scaring my husband. I hate this limbo state and am looking forward to Thursday in a weird way so we can know one way or another. We are trying to be positive and have sent off for a passport for my little girl and will book a little holiday if we get bad news to give us something nicer to focus on.

Just de-lurking to send my best wishes to boat girl - you are in my thoughts. I can totally understand your loathing of the not knowing...you can't really deal with the situation until it's clear what it is. You will have great support here whatever happens and whatever you decide.

Hi ladies

Can I join you please? Got my bfp yesterday. Called to make a midwife appointment and its ages away at the end of May. Does anyone know if a scan is booked before this, I asked the receptionist who said the midwife organises it and that she thought it wouldn't happen until my appointment. This worries me in case there is a long wait!

Can anyone recommend where to go for a maternity bra and measurement that won't cost the earth? My boobs have gone from non-existant to crackin' but they're also painful. I think I need a larger bra and preferably one that's not wired and is more comfy.

Hello Tia. First scan will be 11-13 weeks so yes midwife will book it.

I got measured for bras at debenhams. I got four maternity non wired, two are seam free. They are very comfy.

I got them on a 20% off day it cost £56 for all four.

Tia - my midwife said i will get a letter with my scan gate after appointment. How many weeks will you be at your appointment?

Mouthscradle - think i will be going to debenhams to get measured. My bras are getting pretty uncomfy.
