Always feel a bit sorry for dh when I go to bed bloated and wake up unbloated. That gas is leaving somehow overnight...0 -

:rotfl:like to think of it as another way of 'sharing the magic' of pg! My DH can give as good as he gets...Met DH to be 2010
Moved in and engaged 2011
Married 2012
Bought a house 2013
Expecting our first 2014 :T0 -
lilmissreading wrote: »T2D - good luck with your results. Does that mean the op is on Friday? The one where you have arranged a month off sick?
Sure is! By the way, hopefully on Thursday I'm going to re-activate my blog and post about the operations etc if you want to know the details. I'm holding off until Thursday before telling that group of family and friends about the pregnancy.
Here tis if you want to have a look at the old cancer postings. https://alittlebitofcancer.wordpress.com/0 -

Morning, Just sneaking in as I had a faint line last night and this morning... This will be our second baby and EDD is 2nd December.0

Tinks - I know the feeling! It's hard when people are complaining about sickness, and you just want to join it. Sending hugs and hope the stress doesn't get too much.
Welcome Wendz! Can't believe there are December EDD's already.
AFM, I'm still stressing about tomorrow, and now have a teeny bit of brown spotting. I'd almost stop the knicker watch, so a bit surprised to see spotting today. I think no cramping, although I've got some backache and so of course I am freaking out. I have the scan tomorrow, and then presumably multiple scans the next fews days before, during and after the surgery. Nothing I can do now, other than worry (which I am doing in abundance).0 -
Biggest hugs T2D xxxxxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0

Aw ladies, thanks for the lovely welcome!
T2D - huge hugs and very best of luck for tomorrow and for the op when it rolls around. Easy for me to say, but try not to worry too much as you will need plenty rest over the next wee while. I'll take a wee look at your blog tonight. x
Peonie - good you'll be around for a bit longer - I will be keeping an eye on your progress when you do move over!
WTTDN - oh my goodness, it is scary to think I'll only be around here for another four weeks, then I can join you all on the next thread
Tink - yep, me too. I have bigger boobs and some bloating (and maybe also a spot of constipation) but apart from that I honestly feel no different to normal! It had me very worried at first but now I just look at it as a pay off for the sh*t time I had getting pg :rotfl:
lilmissreading - thanks for the welcome! I will add myself to the list when I get my scan date in.
AFM - told our close family last night, which was really lovely. My mum (who is normally very level headed) was super excited, jumping up and down and crying and hugging me! Then overnight I had the strangest sensation that I can only describe as a series of short spasms. Found it really hard to work out if it was my bladder or my uterus so went into a total panic. All seems to be ok now and I am leaning more towards it being my bladder. Eekk, I hope I am not too paranoid as things move forward. Called the Dr, who was lovely, so she is going to send my referral to the community midwife team.
Quick question ladies, have any of you bought a maternity bra yet and if so where did you go? I don't have big boobs normally (32C) but I am starting to find my normal bras a wee bit uncomfortable and am confused about the best place to buy good and reasonably priced bras. Thanks! xxxx0 -

Oh - I loved telling the family! You've nearly made me cry at my desk remembering! I need to get a grip...
Good luck with the spasmy things. I can't give any advice, other than sympathizing with how a single twinge can completely turn your mood around in a split second. It's all you can think about and then obsess over. Hopefully the midwife teams can help.
I'm sure it's a complete crime to some people, but pushing for an early NHS scan might be an idea! They will scan you if you are very worried and have some symptoms. I found the 6 week scan (where I saw a heartbeat) really reassuring. It's gives you faith you are not imagining it.
The surgeon got back to me about the brown blood, and as expected just said wait and see unless it gets worse. I've not been to the bathroom in a while, but last time there was only the tinest bit of colour. Too scared to check again!0
