Thanks T2D. Are you still on progesterone? Sometimes that can irritate the vaginal wall causing it to be a bit irritated and sometimes to bleed a little. Just an idea!

Nope - stopped at 8 weeks. And I'm a back-door kinda gal so shouldn't be the issue.

The prune juice has been working a little too well recently, so maybe the general stress in the area isn't great.

We've just got back from our first midwifes appointment. The pee test results were fine, she took some blood, asked a ton of questions and told us a lot of information that I don't remember now. I had hoped we'd be able to hear the heartbeat for reassurance - but no

Edited to add: She said I should start to get some pain now that feels like period pain - err, I've had pain for many weeks now! Also, the day by day website said I should start to feel breathless, again, I've been like that for weeks! Does this mean it will get worse? Oh no.

The midwife was retiring today and we were her very last couple after 34 years. So that was a nice spin to the meeting.

Only 8 days until our scan. It can't come soon enough.

T2D, good luck with the op, scan and results. I hope the brown spotting has stopped.

SewIt, to find bras I went to the local shopping and the only shops there were M&S and Mothercare. The Mothercare are not a great fit on me but I got the best ones as I was desperate. It's highly unlikely the ones you buy now will fit you towards the end of your pregnancy and after birth so don't think that you should buy breast feeding ones now - if you do intend to breast feed. You're lucky you only need them now, I had to change during IVF.

Woke up yesterday after a 12 hour sleep with a stinking cold, that mixed with MS is making me VERY grumpy.

Oh well only another week until I have my 2nd 12 week scan.

That's for the good wishes ladies. The bleeding, if you can even call it that, has stopped and I'm glad to be home and relaxing. Today was actually my last day at work so people were being quite nice, although they are all a bit unsure how to deal with me. Most know enough to understand why I would need extra help, but the people who don't know I had cancer are slightly confused and don't know how to ask! I don't know how to tell them without heading down the slightly uncomfortable road that cancer is, especially gynae cancer!

Anyway, home and warm and happy now. Tomorrow is my scan, plus a few other pre-op jobs to get done. Trying not to worry.

Hope everyone else is good. Peonie I'm 12 weeks today too! Glad the appointment went well. Did she say why you would get period pains now? Is it the uterus moving up?

Yay, I'm moving slowly up the list! Woohoo!!!

Can't wait for scan date to come round for me, all symptoms apart from the tender b00bs and tiredness have disappeared which doesn't do much for the mind.

Still having a horrendous time at work which doesn't help. Everything that can possibly go wrong has gone wrong, the boss has been signed off and I'm running the show. Ended up doing some fairly physical stuff today and hardly sat down the whole day so when it finally came to doing paperwork at the end of the day to catch up my head was thumping and I could hardly focus on the screen. Got by the the necessary and will check everything in the morning before submitting it a day late. Better late than getting it wrong!

Lovely nutritious toast and jam for dinner and now I'm tucked up in bed praying that my on call phone doesn't ring tonight, was having the most fantastic sleep last night before it was rudely interrupted at 1am!

Hope you're all having a better week than me!

Have added myself to list, hope thats ok! Thanks all for the welcome, did a digi test tonight and says pregnant 1-2 weeks, seems more real seeing those words.

Glad the appointment went well Peonie. They don't normally let you listen to heartbeat till about 16 weeks i think.
