I'm having a c-section. I don't have the anatomy to give birth naturally, so I can just watch the painful bits!

Can you use the internal cream? It's still cream but its placed further up, which is where I always think the infection is coming from even though the itch is outside.

Also I find eating lots of active natural yogurt helps.

God I hate thrush!! Please god I can keep it away. I might follow my own advice and add activia or something to my diet.

I'm watching OBEM for the first time. Never had the courage too before.

Unfortunately I am allergic to dairy so no yogurt here :(

When you say use internal cream do you mean use the same cream and just, er, stick it up a bit? Or is there a different cream?

Thank you! But that still scares me....16 weeks?! We are going on holiday at 14 weeks and I really really hoped to feel ok by then :( argh :(

Also had a conversation with my mum today where I said I hoped the sickness and nausea would disappear soon as I am nearly 12 weeks and she said 'you know you won't just wake up at 12 weeks and it will be gone? It will be very gradual!' I am probably a complete idiot but I actually had thought there would be a 'wake up and suddenly feel better' day! :o clearly that was really stupid but I am gutted to discover it is not the case :( boo!

Ha ha just lurking & this made me smile.

I asked my mum the same thing when I started being sick. She wouldn't tell me at first when I asked when did she stop being sick, but I bugged her & she said around 16 weeks? Which was horrifying to me then as I was 6 and thinking omg that's ages away! Then I got a text from my nan saying 'don't worry it will pass I had it until 20 weeks'

My dreams of it being 12 weeks were well & truly shattered lol! Ended up being 21 for me so I guess I take after them

I never got the 2nd trimester burst of energy either, however once I stopped vomiting even though I still felt sick, as I could then eat more it did improve definitely and I could stay up to a normal time again!

Then the 3rd trimester hit & I was knackered again! So perhaps save all your jobs like nursery decoration etc til the mid to end of 2nd trimester I'd say that's when you feel your best! Plus probably better to assume you'll feel tired etc and then if you don't it's a bonus! Rather than the other way round! So plan some relaxing activities for your holiday!

There is a special applicator. I think the cream is normal, although it might be a bit stronger than the external cream.

    Yup.

Luckily in those few weeks we got a load of stuff done! Painted the nursery, had a massive clear out, shopped for the pram etc!

morning all. well i went straight from work to meet mate, mooched round costco and then i went on to ikea and asda.. omg.. i could have cried with tiredness when i got back home.. was knackered!!

wanted to call in sick today to have a day at home but hubbie said no.. im glad really.. think it was just that i did not want to get up this am and felt exhausted.. but now im here.. im ok..

bought a tv for step son room last night in asda, was last tv/dvd combi.. had concerns as i could see some remnants of sold tape on it, and it was the last one on shelf.. but lady worker assured me it was fine..

got it home, plugged in.. tv fine but wont accept any dvd in it.. grrrr...so now will have to go to the asda in northampton to try and change this lunchtime.. i hope i wont have any bother changing it..

no real symptoms today other than tiredness.
have a good day all x
