Just lurking to say you are by American standards considered in the 11th week. It is the week that is coming so you have gone past 10 weeks and are now heading to 11.

I am 31 weeks and I can say my sleep pattern is wanting to do just the same as yours!

Yes if you are 10 weeks and 1 day you are in your eleventh week. Think about it - a baby from the age of 0 to 11 months and 29 days is in their first year, although they are not 1 yet :) so before you were 1 week pregnant you were in your first week and as soon as you were 1 week pregnant that was you in your second week, and so on. I am pretty sure that is the system we all mean. And yes - second trimester starts once you have hit 12 weeks I think!

Good evening, I managed half of my roast dinner and a chocolate choux bun followed by a bath for an hour and a half with radox and a book. I feel much better and am off to bed now.

I hope you all had a lovely day xx
  • Sounds like good days all round on the whole.

    well jeal monty-doggy sounds lush

We have had 2 lodgers move in this weekend. Not telling them until after scan. One has already said she was after a 6 months place so that works.

Well it's just after 9pm - defo bedtime - and I have a long 2 hour trek for a course in London tomorrow

Good luck to all those with scans this week - one tomorrow and 2 on Weds? Lots of graduates!

  • Argh - just got ready for bed and have dry skin on my nipples! Time for Bio Oil to be used properly I think...

My friend was an AA-A pre and they went back to A. My aunt was D and went down to A. Go figure. It's as random as everything else!

Ladies, I get very confused by the pregnancy dating system. I know I'm in my 11th week (10+4) is that the same system you are using when writing? Using my dates, I'm never sure if you mean the 10th or 11th week.

Also, the American site I'm using, for day-by-day development updates, shows the 2nd trimester starts on the 13th week (12+1). Is it the same for us?
Great, now that that's clear. My job involves a lot of writing, explaining information etc, so I like to be clear. I prefer the 10+4 way of dating. There's no way I want to say I'm in my 36th year when I'm 'only' 35 ha ha.

Oh I slept terribly last night ladies :( I was awake for hours in the night itching so much, stupid stupid thrush :o definitely going to go to the doctor today about it. Also need to go to the hospital to get more blood taken after having a letter last week that said there were possible red cell antibodies in my blood and they need a bigger sample to see. And right now I need to go and take my husband to to the station so that I can have the car to do these things. Roll on the end of the week when my new car is meant to arrive!

Hope everyone has a good day and that right now you are all slumbering soundly, not awake like me!
