Glad to hear you're doing well, daisiegg, and that your sickness seems to be easing! The tenderness sounds pretty normal - body stretching and adjusting!

I'm so happy for you LollyPops. I'm welling up reading that you heard the heartbeat I had spotting/light bleeding and also burst into tears at my scan.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow Jen. I had to postpone mine until Friday so I've got a couple more days to wait!

DH's birthday was yesterday, he had a nice day at home and opened his prezzies when I got home from work. I've not been all that bothered about alcohol recently, but really wishing I could have some of the whisky that he was given. It smells lovely! I have had a sip but that's all, being good!

Hi, I'm back again :-) only just found out, 1-2 weeks so prob won't post much until I hopefully get to at least 7 weeks as lost last one before that

Oh ladies, I feel SO fat. I have stopped being sick over the last 5 days or so, which I am not complaining about...but I still feel nauseous most of the time and need to keep eating to curb that. Up until now I was eating a lot when I wasn't throwing up but I think I was throwing up enough to balance it out, if it makes sense. Now I have stopped being sick so I am just eating... I am also struggling with lots of foods and really needing to eat what I fancy when I fancy it as it is all I can manage. I am eating so much and I feel huge today I have had a huge bowl of cereal for breakfast, about 7 cream crackers throughout the day, a mini pack of raisins, pasta salad for lunch, a big bowl of cereal when I got in from work, a bowl of sliced apple, and I still have not even had dinner! (Which will be homemade burger, new potatoes and salad). Yesterday I ate about 6 pieces of banana bread (as well as meals!) It is awful, I am just ravenous the whole time and if I don't eat I feel so ill. I am hugely struggling with fruit and veg, completely off fish and chicken, it's all a big disaster!

I started this pregnancy with a BMI of about 34 so already far too big, and I am terrified of becoming the size of a whale.

I had my 12 week scan today and was dated 12w6d EDD 11/09/2014.


I did not get to hear the heartbeat but we did see it beating away very clearly.
The baby was being naughty and stated doing sit ups when the mw wanted to do the nuchal measurement lol. It then started blowing kisses and making fish like movements with its mouth which made us chuckle.


I guess I should graduate now to the 12-24w thread. Good luck everyone and see you over there soon x
