Oh Lollypop, I am sorry you are going through something so tough. I had two miscarriages before having my son. I also bled in early pregnancy with my son, the only thing to do is try and distract yourself as the hospital will help you tomorrow, but today or tomorrow will sadly or happily make no difference.

I have popped back as having moved to Belgium just over 6 months ago I have popped back for my sons half term. Hu by is working in the USA this week and I tested today as 3 days late and got a BFP!!!!!!!!, this has only taken about 2.4 years oh and the sun is shininng

  • No pain at the minute Miss I.

The other thing that worries me is my nausea disappeared on Thursday and hasn't come back. I thought at the time it was perhaps the placenta taking over but guessing now it was something not quite as positive.

How are you doing today, lollypops? I wouldn't necessarily take your nausea disappearing as a bad sign, as you say it could be the placenta taking over and pregnancy symptoms come and go quite freely with no obvious reason. Will be thinking of you today at your scan, lollypops.

    FC for you today lollipopswater.

My symptoms disappeared around about the 7 week mark but this week they have come back twice as bad.

  • Thanks all - bleeding pretty much turned to light brown by tea time last night and then was gone by bedtime, nothing over night.

Scan at 11.30 so just need to see what that brings. Very nervous and worried but out of my control so just need to get on with it.

    Xxxx

Hope things go well today lollpops, will be thinking of you. My bleed at 6 weeks sounded similar, short heavy dark red blood, then eased off by the end of the day. Baby was, and still is, fine. Fingers crossed for you.

    Thinking of you lollypopswater

I've started spotting again today. Feel quite crampy too but seeing as I had a scan recently and it was fine I'm trying to just relax and keep an eye on it.

Good luck for the scan today lollypops.

Laila hope the spotting stops soon.

AFM I went to the doctors yesterday to discuss my medications and I've been taken off them all so it's going to be interesting how I go on over the coming months but he registered me with the Midwife and told me to fill out the exemption certificate so it was definitely worth the trip just for that lol.

I've been feeling a bit of a fraud as I haven't really had many symptoms and keep looking at the test to make sure but this morning I've woken up and think the nausea is starting. It's going to be fun going back to work next week lol.

Hugs for anyone who needs them xx

  • Very active baby with heartbeat measuring 10wks on scan... Just waiting to speak to midwife about reason for bleeding.

I'll admit bursting into tears when she said she could see a heartbeat!

Great news! Such a relief. Seems random bleeding is a feature of pregnancy that can really go either way.

Congrats on a healthy bean. :)
