I know the feeling Peonie. I feel generally crap today and have spent most of it lying on my unmade bed as I stripped it this morning! Had a busy day yesterday and I think it's just knocked the stuffing out of me.

Sickness back with a vengeance today. Not been nauseous in a few days so bit surprised by it! Plus it's Sunday- the worst of all the days. I've got to finish my uni work and should go food shopping for the week as I'm working the next 7 days. The idea of doing any of that makes me want to act like Kevin the teenager...

Danielle we can count down together - I really just want to know that everything is ok in there!

Given that I've taken to sitting with my jeans open at home I've just ordered a bump band, one of the ones with button holes to see how I get on with it. Fingers crossed it's going to be as useful as I hope it will be!

Envious of all you quilters and cross stitches, not something I've done before and I'd have no idea where to start!!

Lollipops - I got one of those button on bands, and I Love it. My best pregnancy buy so far! Got it from JoJoMamanBebe, and it's kept me in my pre-pg jeans, and I'm now 23weeks! So comfy. It's just jersey fabric so not a real support band but it does make me feel supported. Plus it's keeping me in my shorter tops as it gives extra length. I hope you get on with yours

Oh and cross stitch is easy - it's like paint by numbers but with thread:)
Re quilt making, if I were starting now I'd take a day project class and go from there..

hi just thought I'd pop along and say hello, I'm 10 weeks and have my scan on the 18th March. I was on the ttc thread last year but disappeared when it just wasn't happening. I used to do cross stitch so can finally find a home for a Noah's ark I stitched about 15 years ago. Now I'm a knitter but seem to have lost my mojo since I can barely keep my eyes open on an evening. Reading a few posts up reminded me that years ago I bought some afghan fabric for a quilt, i'll bet it's up in the loft with all my other cross stitch stuff for when the bug returns. Hope everyone is well.

Welcome lemon tree, your scan is day before mine. Seems a bit more real when you've got a scan date doesn't it?

Paint by numbers I could perhaps do! Maybe when I'm a bit further along I'll have a look.

hi, yes it feels a bit more real, I had to have a scan at 6-7 weeks because of a bleed but we did see the heartbeat at that stage.
we told parents last Monday which is also making it feel more real, but holding out on telling work, and more than a little bit worried about that bit to be honest.

hi I remember you as well, didn't want to go back and be one of those people who just turn up and announce if you know what I mean, hoped that there would be no one left from when I was on there but only because I hoped they would have already had their bfp's ! does that make sense?

Hope you don't mind me joining you from the current ttc thread as I got my BFP today :eek:.

I just want to tell everyone but DH and I have agreed to wait until after the scan, fingers crossed I can keep my mouth shut lol.

I'm going to try and read back so I can get up to speed but thought I'd introduce myself first.
