I want it to be 12 days........or 12 hours..... lol3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
Happily Married since 20160 -
Con - Mine is a trolley case and a very large handbag and that's if I have to transfer!
Birdie - your OH's made my day with his comment!
Claire16c - I hope for an easy birth and baby to make up for a hard and rough pregnancy too. I actually wished the pregnancy away at about 14 weeks- I'm mortified now when I think of it! Yep, we seem to be the same with the bed manoeuvres at night. Annoyingly after finding a comfortable position, I then get the urge to wee. Haul myself out of bed and tada - just the tiniest trickles
Fran- o - Happy Anniversary! Being active makes my spd worse! I usually have to be helped around at night and house bound the next day if I do anything active - ie walking, cleaning the house. Not that it's stopped me yet!
Afm - signed off consultant now. I have found all my consultant appointments a waste of time and money (hospital parking). I'm consultant led cos all IVF pregnancies are in my PCT. Now back to midwife and have first home visit on Monday for home birth talk/ pack and to assess the house.
Tens hire came today - I've never been so excited about pain relief!
Feel very sluggish and heavy. Little mister seems to be making sweeping movements which have been very painful. BH has also kicked up a notch. I'm constantly aware of them now. Is that normal?
Ha yes I forgot that part - finding the good position then realising you really need to go to the loo first  I had that twice I think last night, I remember thinking if I dont go now, it will just wake me up later!
I know I remember when I was around 7 weeks and pretty much felt like I was dying with the sickness and exhaustion and taking the horrible tasting tablets, I had a couple of bad thoughts which I never really actually meant I was just so desperate to not feel like that I had all these thoughts going through my mind.
Thats great youre signed off.
Im finding my bump and pelvic pain is hurting pretty much every single day now.
I think some people must just get away with nothing because I know someone who was running half marathons etc when pregnant, I can barely walk sometimes, cant put my shoes and socks on without getting in a weird position or sitting down because my groin really hurts.
I am so looking forward to maternity leave. 4 weeks and 2 days!
My paint from the nursery company arrived today which Im really excited about. I just picked the Milk Time white/cream colour as I think then I will decorate with a wall mural sticker thing. I keep thinking about painting one wall a feature colour, but then I figured if I keep it cream I can change the bedding colour etc to put colour in the room instead. And save on buying anymore paint! I did like some wall paper on the M&P website but the reviews were horrendous so no way I'm buying that now.
Just need to find the perfect wall sticker!0 -
Saw on hot UK deals... nightdresses which work out at £3 ... thought 'yay' well... I wouldn't say they are suitable for hospital

Hope I at least give you all a laugh lol.0 -
Ha ha! Yeah prob not appropriate for hospital especially if they ended up in photos!
Someone I know who almost died in Iraq, his girlfriend has just had twins today, I'm blubbing looking at the pics! He's the loveliest guy and really deserved something good to happen to him after all the injuries & stuff he's had ever since he's had to cope with a lot and loosing a job he loved. One twin was 6lb 13 and the other was 4lb 13 - and they were 5 weeks early!!!0 -
Claire you said some people get away with nothing - I'm possibly one of those. No sickness just tiredness, a couple of rough days and a stitch if I ever tried to do a work out (not complaining as now I have no gym membership to pay!) But I wish I had had something to help me feel like less of a fake - anything at all, having none of the 'usual'/expected symtoms has made me worry everyday.
That said, been back to walking on my lunch hours and baby really likes to protest I think as I get really uncomfortable really quickly :-(
Last night I washed a bunch of pink baby clothes given to us by one of bf's team mates. So cute it hurts! Got a small load of white ones to do then once they are all away that's all the clothes done! If I can work out how I'll share a cute pic of them all drying on the airer on the Facebook group :-)
Also, officially down to two skirts, one dress and three tops for work and of that only the dress is really smart enough. I loathe to spend any money on clothes I only need to a few weeks so going to see if I can maybe get some long smart tunics/tops and a couple of pairs of leggings stuff I'll be able to wear again after. That or I will buy some material and a pattern and mil has said she will help me make a couple of bits...think I might go for that one actually as we can make them so that we can alter them easily after.
All this talk of hospital bags makes me think mine is too small! I'm only taking the changing bag and my handbag plus I'll leave my outfit in the car just in a sports bag for bf to grab! Maybe I should pack my small holdall as well haha************************************

Looking forward to the baby events in supermarkets, my local tesco doesn't seem to have any offers on?
Squ1rrel my physio recommended sitting on a dining room chair too but with the chair back to front. Helps with pelvic position.
Happy anniversary fran hope you had a nice time
Thanks for all replies re mw & consultant. Not seeing mw now until 37 weeks.
Mrs bunny hope that the scan goes well. Does your mw not tell you which way baby is laying?
Mince pie so glad you managed to get a decent nights sleep. Baby can come now!!!
I was finding my dream genii quite uncomfortable in the last few weeks so I bought a £7.50 v shaped pillow from ikea and it's so comfy!!! I've been sleeping much better with it. Definitely recommend itFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Yes Lush that's probably the only good thing about my sickness was I knew something was going on in there!
I don't really want to buy anymore maternity clothes now either.
Only thing I need is a coat which I'm waiting for from Asos there was some weird mix up on the delivery!
Feeling weird this morning. A day or so ago I felt a little dizzy. Then last night I got the noise back in my ear that I had months ago which at the time got quite bad, one day my ear was completely blocked but wasn't from wax, I threw up one night and the room was spinning but the block went away. I had to get these tablets from the dr to stop the dizziness.
Anyway after about 8 weeks the noise stopped & I was back to normal.
Just went to the loo & felt really rather dizzy. I don't think it's pregnancy related I think it's something up with my ear again although the noise has gone this morning. Thing is that dr didn't know what it was last time & I can't take those tablets now I'm pregnant.
Will have to see how I feel over next few hours and maybe see dr if it carries on.
Thing is last time I ended up googling what could be wrong & found this condition to do with particles in your inner ear. There were these you tube videos of exercises you could do which made you really dizzy at first but once I'd some it the dizziness did improve so then I convinced myself that was what was wrong with me. Problem is I now can't remember the name of it to try doing the exercises again.
I just hate having any type of problem like this whilst I'm pregnant it just makes it 10 times worse!0 -

Wonder how firefly got on yesterday...? :j Hope the car seat arrived in time
Mince pie, congrats on being a boldie! So jealous of your sleep! I need a night like that. Or even a day of sleep like that...
And then for this baby to come out! :rotfl:
Beginning to become less patient now... don't feel like I'm going to get better before MiniZee arrives so what's the point in 'waiting'...? Just don't feel like it's particularly imminent though
