Fran-o, I think I just dont want to get to or go past as then I'll think every little thing is something happening, I think if it happens before due date it's more of a 'suprise' and I wont be winding myself up over it.

Lurking for bigz's news can't be much longer and really hoping you get the manageable birth you're hoping for. I'm healing really well, 2-3hr feeds now and my OH is a star. Ladies I highly recommend the EPO internally to save your lady parts. I swear it's made ahuge difference, and only push on the contractions thinking of you all xx

Where do you get just the oil from & how often did you use it?

I agree with not liking nighties claire but very practical when in labour

It's funny what you can forget in a couple of years. I know that I was ill with DS almost the whole 9 months and yet I would swear that I wasn't that uncomfortable as I am now! Perhaps I've just become a sissy

Dh can be with me at all times on the induction ward between something like 8am and 8pm OR as long as I'm in active labour. If they deem that not enough is happening they can try and send him home (I say try because I wouldn't let him go without a fight ) Once I got to a particular point they'd transfer me to delivery site and he'd be fine on there, of course...

Our local Matalan has some okayish cheap nighties in, think I will get some next time I pop in.

I'm very tired today and irritated. Although the lovely people I work with have asked me what else I need as they would rather get me something I need as a leaving for maternity present than something I don't.. so have said either a monitor or Ewan the sheep

I've just bought a couple of Matalan cheap night shirts too. I also got my Boots changing bag today so feeling like I'm making a start on the hospital bag too!
I found out today that my hospital run a special twin/multiple births class, once every quarter. The next one is March 12th, I'll be 36 weeks and as the secretary said there's a strong chance the babies will be arriving around then. Kinda wish they'd mentioned it earlier!

Eeeep, I'm nearly in the single figures on the list! :eek:

I'm really wishing I'd stopped work last week. Had yesterday off but today was back in the office (and training my replacement- blah!) and really struggled with it. So ready for the time off! At least there are only 3 days left!

OH came home last night and declared that he'd been reading Wikipedia and is now fully prepared to deliver the baby at home if he has to! :rotfl: He even 'knows' what to do if baby is breech! Dude's a nutter!

What's the deal with the EPO? Something you take or, ahem, rub in?! Just started taking my RLT tablets, hope they do some magic to my innards!

I love the enthusiasm! My OH gets freaked out when he feels the babies kicking so don't think he'd be much good at this.

Primark had some button nighties too which i got just before Xmas. They were£4 each which I figured I didnt mind seen as then can see them as disposable!
